Loved this plugin at first. All the way up until I tried to insure the ecommerce was still working. As soon as I would try to view cart, it would take me back to my prints for sale page. I deactivated the plugin and instantly I could view the cart and check out. Using WordPress 6, Nextgen Pro 3.13.0, and Imagely themes 2.0. I hope they get it fixed. It was nice for others to see exactly where the photos they are buying were taken.

I have been using NextGen Gallery on my website for years.
Including maps with routes and geo-tagged images.
Was a happy user of WP GPX Maps, but that it no longer maintained it seems.
Although this plugin was gathering dust for some time, it’s now being dusted off and for me can now replace WP GPX Maps on my website, so I can finally switch to PHP8!
Would be cool if Google Maps is added in the future (with own API key ofcourse).

I had to make a lot of fixes that took a few days, but it was worth it to have all the great mapping features. It is too bad that the author is not keeping it up to date with the latest NextGEN changes. See an example of my blog with a map here.

When I use the automatic feature to include maps after my posts with galleries, then the maps with my photos show up. But if I try and add galleries with the short code then I get no response. NextGen Gallery and WordPress have both been updated since this Plugin so I don’t know if they are still compatible… not to mention php versions.

Before I updated it, it was working fine once I updated wordpress it stopped working.
Can anyone help I saw some php edition that I had to do that advice is also not working for me.
I guess I will remove it as the Authors are no longer supporting the plugins.

i have been working with this plugin for the last 30 minutes, it works exactly as it says on the description and it offers an easy and very fast way to show your pics on the map.
“/******** update: unfortunately sometimes it occupies webpage space without showing something. Tested for 1 week period over a mac computer with Firefox 19 version. *********/”
There are a lot of things that can make this plugin perfect. But it is a very good start if you know how to do some things for your photos first. For instance, you have to add all the info you want from the external editing program you use. I have added all the info from Lightroom (version 4 has geotaggin ability which adds geolocation coordinates to your photos)
If you feed this info to this plugin then it will work as supposed (i am using wordpress 3.5.1)

Works great!

When it works it’s great! Some of my galleries now have nice maps but for others there is just a blank space where this map should go. I understand there is a problem with photographs which have exactly the same GPS coordinates. Once this gets sorted out and I don’t have to trawl through all the pictures to work out where the conflicts are this is a five star plugin!
