There are a lot of installing possibilities, even in the free version. It was not easy for me, but the help I got was very effective and quick. I got answer to every questions after a few minutes and – as a special bonus for me – in Hungarian. The support was very helpfull and made special installing for me which I could not manage. I love this Nextend Accordion Menu plugin. The interface is easy to use and the accordion menu is good for saving some space on the sidebar.
I ran into a small bug with a feature not working. Bugs are elusive little things, especially in coding. I posted my finding to the Support forum here, and @nextend_ramona did a fantastic job of detecting the bugged code in the plugin and resolving it quickly. Also stated that it’ll be fixed in the next update.

Guys just shell out the cash and buy BOTH of their premium products, the accordion and the slider. They are REALLY good and they look amazing too. Oh, and the service left my jaw dropping.

I started using the freebie but once I knew this was a solid product I purchased the pro version and I’m happy I did.
This is a very helpful system, especially if you have a lot of different categories of many items.
I will also say that this is some of the best support I have had from any plugin developer. That may be due to the premium purchase but in the end premium is usually the way to go.

The menu itself is very nice. The thing that really sets them apart though is the really excellent service. I needed a feature that was not built into the product (being able to target an iframe) and they were able to help me configure it work! There support was so good I purchased the paid version. I would highly recommend the Nextend Menu because it is feature rich, but the support really sets it apart as the best accordian menu system for WordPress!

I had been searching and trying out for close to 8 hours different “sidebar menus” “collapsible sidebar menu” “collapsible menus” when finally my search took me to “accordion sidebar menu”. Thinking that this was probably another plug-in that doesn’t work with WP4.1 I decided to give it a try after looking at the screenshots. WOW!!! It is everything it claims to be!!! The step by step documentation was easy to follow and my accordion menu works flawlessly. And it matches my theme!!
