I am currently logged in on wordpress via my own website and /wp-admin at the end of my domain. I can see on overview that statistics are being logged, since i enabled the external API, I did this today. I still have trouble downloading the statistics on a .txt file.

The issue:
I go to Dashboard > Newstatpress > Tools > Export – There I choose the time period where i know the website has been visited, which is mainly today. Then I download my file. It is completely blank however:
date,time,ip,urlrequested,agent,referrer,search,nation,os,browser,searchengine,spider,feed

I am updated to the newest version of wordpress. What causes this issue? Do i need to wait a couple of days perhaps? I would really appreciate a response.

I tried to display graph information more then a thousand time but it seems impossible.
I treid also to contact the author but his site seems a cage with no exit, ask for acceptance of privacy to activate some sections but nothing happen…

I set the number of Visitors in Statistics offsets (Total visits) in NewStatPress Settings, but the number is not reflected in the %totalvisits% widget.

NewStatPress widget about the %visitorsonline% item.
In other data displays, the ID is set, but %visitorsonline% has no ID.
I would like to control the display with CSS, so I would like the ID to be set for %visitorsonline% as well.

Heb al vanalles geprobeerd, maar het lukt mij maar niet om dit te verhelpen en de data te downloaden.

Before installing your plugin, I was researching about it. And I found out a site that’s showing your plugin has some compatibility issues.

Is it legit or should I avoid this?

Today i installed NewStatPress
I clicked Activate
A second later page refreshes and my whole admin page (/wp-admin/index.php) is bricked.

There are no elements on it, i cannot uninstall the plugin, i can’t do anything.
It’s been some time since the last full backup, so just deleting and reinstalling the whole site isn’t really an option if it can be avoided.
It was probably something to do with my host not giving access to edit certain files, and the plugin not reversing the changes upon failiure, leaving it bricked.

In the code it blocks so that the subscribers cannot access this option, but being multisite it does not work correctly.

Why is the colours on the graph different from the colour key code?

Spiders is suppose to be Green and yet on my screen they show up as a light blue.

Page Views should be Orange or Red and it is a darker blue

Feeds should be Yellow and it is Orange.

I downloaded and installed your plug in. It seems to be working fine, but when I try to export the data all I get is a blank document with header information.

NewStatPress Version 1.3.1

In Jan 2019 I moved hosts and recently tried to export data from NewStatPress. The export “worked” but the csv file is empty except for the header row. Tried export to txt, same thing. I can see visitor data is being logged via Vists>Visitors. I’ve tried different time periods for the export –?1 day to multiple days with the same result. Suggestions?

After WordPress upgrading to version 5.02, with NewStatPress there has been a lot of times when the plugin is hard to connect database and every now and then there has been a “failed to connect database” errors.

I know that my server is slow and cheap, but it worked fine before 5.02 upgrade.

I have cleaned old splider and bot databases, but left user databases. The plugin has been since 2013 in the site, but in this moment I disabled it.

It is obvious that WP 5.02 is much heavier than earlier versions, so it requires more powerfull server (and climate changing is increasing).

Is there any way to get plugin work lighter?

I have two topics I would like to address,

1. Turning on the Crypt IP Addresses option does not encrypt older IP Addresses, is there a way to do this as well?

2. Since I set the option Crypt IP Addresses in the Options -> Filters section, I get the following error message when clicking “more info” under visits -> Last Visitor -> selecting more info of any user. It seems the script does not know that an IP can be also encrypted.

Is NewStatPress GDPR compliant or how would you advise we handle our NewStatPress data?

My site has NSP 1.2.9 on WordPress 4.9.4. Everyweek, statspress table crashes. I have to manually empty this table to restore the functionality of NSP. Is there a way to fix this? When I see the statspress table “crashed, irrepairable” state, I can’t see any rows in the table either.

This used to work, but stopped a while ago. The widget at the right bottom of the page is no longer displaying the stats, only dashes. I read this would be related to permissions, but I tried creating a php file inside the api folder, and I was able to access it without issues. Access to the variables.php file does not go through, though.

Any ideas? My .htaccess file has no rules at all. I am running Wordfence, but I tried disabling it and still no stats.

analyzing site performance I found to have a really large DB more or less 220 Mb but the most striking thing is the size of the wp_statpress table that alone measures 185Mb (84% DB) with 855,000 lines, also affecting the site’s performance.

Is there a way to drastically reduce this size/need without losing informations?
