Hi,
plugin seems to be exactly what i want/need for my newsletter, but after activation, it resets shortcode of my event plugin (wp.theater). The shortcode of the event plugin works, but outputs none of the additional arguments.
Best, Sam
Hi
It would be very helpful so that the left WordPress sidebar menu does not get so crowded to be able to move the Newsletter Glue settings into the WordPress settings submenu. Thank you!

Hi,
any plans to Mautic integration?
Hello,
my site is connected to Mailchimp, but i cannot even send a test email. Always get the error “missing subject”. Can you help me solve the problem please?
This is not a support question for the Newsletter Glue team, I don’t expect an official reply. I would like to hear from other users.
How do you match the Newsletter Glue button with other buttons on your website or do you just have to live with having two styles on the page?
The second button on my site’s sign up page is a Jetpack button see: https://billbennett.co.nz/subscribe-by-email/
Has anyone else using Glue managed to match buttons?
I am an NG Pro user, and am in the block editor, writing a post.
Always before, there was a box to check to send a post as a newsletter. And, at the bottom, below the post editor, there was a section for settings for the newsletter.
Now there is none of that.
According to the Plugins page, I am using Newsletter Glue Pro Version 1.4.1.2.
In the sidebar, there is a section that shows “Newsletters (beta)” and I wonder if this is the problem: maybe there is a bug in the beta?
I guess I can’t post my post until I figure this out, because I don’t know if it will go out as a newsletter. And, if it will, I have no way to preview it by sending myself a test.
Please help?

Hey there
Testing your plugin today and it seemed people were happy with it. Was looking for a better, more stylish and adaptable plugin to mainly capture subscribers in a block based site, but was shocked to see, you allow Mailchimp marketing but no subscriber form at all in the free plan.
This seems nuts to me as newsletter is part of you brand and well, any newsletter starts with a signup.
Am i missing something here?
Hi
There’s a potential issue, when the plugin is used together with WP Offload Media from Delicious Brains. Images may not display because they are offloaded to a delivery provider and are not really present in /wp-content/.
This is normally fixed because WP Offload Media filters content and changes the local urls to the provider urls:
https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-media/doc/developer-guide/#local-to-provider
But Newsletter Glue seems to fetch the content before this filter has had effect.
Luckily the filter can be applied manually:
https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-offload-media/doc/filtering-urls-in-custom-content/
So you can do something like this:
function dagens_newsletters_filter_post_local_to_provider($the_content) {
return apply_filters( 'as3cf_filter_post_local_to_provider', $the_content );
}
add_filter('newsletterglue_email_content','dagens_newsletters_filter_post_local_to_provider');
But if you could add a fix to your compatibility file it would be a nice gesture.

Hi there, even if i flagged out the featured image, the newsletter show it:
featured image flagged out:

newsletter with the featured image in to be hidden:

Hi – great plugin. Really easy to use.
One thing I’m wondering though is whether the plugin supports the use Mailchimp Merge Tags in newsletters.
If I create a custom html block it seems to work, if I enter something like *|ARCHIVE|*
In other blocks I can’t make it work.
And in custom HTML blocks it doesn’t seem to work either, if it is mixed with regular HTML like:
View this email in your browser
Best regards
Steffen
I use and love this plugin – especially since adding the ActiveCampaign functionality, which allows me finally to send my posts out to subscribers since ActiveCampaign’s long-standing RSS issues.
I automate post publication through Zapier. Is there any way I can set the post to send as newsletter through Zapier so as to maintain the automation?
Hello! This plugin seems like an amazing solution to me.
My blog posts were created with Divi visual builder, on WordPress. When I send an email with Newsletter glue, I end up losing a lot of the formatting.
Below is what I end up seeing on the test email (a bunch of code).
Am I missing something?
Thank you!

Hello,
I would like to add Newsletter Glue to my existing WP site in order to send new posts as a MailChimp email going forward. Does the plugin require that I use the Gutenberg block editor in order to create posts?
My site’s pages were created using Elementor and the existing posts have all been created using the classic WP visual editor. If I were to install and use the Gutenberg editor to create posts going forward, would that impact the appearance of any of my existing posts and pages?
Finally – do you have any plans to support Elementor in the future?
Thank you for your help!
Hello
Can a newsletter post be set to private? I don’t want users to access newsletter online. Thank you for making such a nice module.
Hi there,
I like to email post by category to my subscribers. It is okay if the function is provided with CSS.
The links provided is the page with category of information technology
Can you support this function?

Hong
Love what you have done so far! Just want to submit a feature request to support sending emails using SendFox.
Thanks!
Hello,
This looks great! Can I consolidate my posts over a week for example and then schedule them to be sent as one newsletter once a week?
Hi,
It would be great if there would be a checkbox to include a link to the original post.
I’m planning to send out a newsletter each time there is a new post. Part of the post is hidden (members only). Subscribers (not all of which are members) of the newsletter could click on the link and view the whole post (for members this includes the hidden part, but there could also be an ACF relational field connection or something like that).
This would be a great way to generate traffic to a website.
Thanks, Daniel
Hello,
First of all, I’m very happy with this great and easy to use plugin.
I’d like to use this plugin on a website with normal posts and some Custom Post Types, at the moment this doesn’t seem to work. Is there any way we could get this working?
Kind regards,
Daniel
This plugin is amazing! It’s exactly what I was looking for, and doesn’t have all the unneeded features that make similar plugins so clunky.
I’m running a multi-author blog, so if I could put in a request it would be to provide an option to show the author’s name and avatar in the newsletter.
Really nice work on this plugin! I love the concept, and it’s very easy to set up and use. 2 feature requests that would make this even better…
1. Better integration with Gutenberg and/or Page Builders
Being able to use one of these design tools to create beautiful emails would be great! I realize there is a Custom CSS tab that could be used to style columns and buttons, but it would be so much more user friendly if there was a way to pick up the CSS that Gutenberg or a page builder has already.
2. Send Confirmation
Having an “are you sure you want to send” confirmation before sending post as newsletter would be very helpful. I can see a lot of people accidentally sending their post before they’re ready. I did this one myself in testing (thankfully it was a Mailchimp segment that only included me).
Thanks again for your great work here!
Hi @memberhero! Thanks again for this plugin. Can you tell me if there’s a way to adjust the placement of the logo image? Right now it appears under the post title in the emailed newsletter. I’m using MailChimp. It looks like this: https://snipboard.io/aO2fT8.jpg
Hi there, the plugin looks amazing. I have a few feature requests. One stood out. We, our clients and us, would love to see an integration with the sendy.co api.
I’m having trouble getting my MailChimp audience segments to show up in the selector for segments/tags. Does it take time for those to show up or is it limited to just one segment?
Any ETA on when the plugin will include support for EmailOctopus?
