Plugin doesn’t work. It lacks even the files needed for proper work

TypeError: jQuery(...).inewsticker is not a function

However, when checking my site, oh surprise: the developer added several spam links to sites with malware in the footer.

Be very very VERY CAREFUL with this plugin (as in AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!). Can’t believe this plugin is allowed in the WP repository

Its a nice plugin but not simple enough for average users.

2 days after installation, just discovered malicious links in pages an specifically in the footer. see below Very well hidden with forced ‘dofollow’! I would recommend to uninstall this unethical dirty plugin.
identified code in the bottom of page, once plugin installed :
