Hello, I’m so happy I found your plugin to manage standard and rural shipping rates!
I’m using the Google Places API to autocomplete the WooCommerce address field “billing_address_1”. I have found that when a user fills out their address on the checkout page using autocomplete, the shipping zones are not triggered as it doesn’t sense that a postcode has been entered.
For those using Google Places API, is there some way to add code (maybe to the theme functions.php) when billing_address_1 is updated, check postcode feild. If postcode is not blank, trigger Woocommerce_NZ_Shipping_Zone to show the shipping rate? Or can you help suggest another method to trigger the pulgin?
]]>So installed your plugin and works ok. I have an issue that you may have an answer for. I connect to google merchant and my product comes up in google search fine. However for some reason the freight charge that shows on the google result defaults to the higher rural charge. Do a search in google shopping for “Silver Fern Brooch Lapel Pin” and the patchpinflag listing shows the $12.90 for freight. Any ideas on how to make it default to the cheaper option $12.90 scres people off
]]>I have just one plugin holding me back from the woocommerce new high performance order storage option – yours ?? When are you scheduled to update to allow for this? Thanks.
High-Performance order storage (COT)High-Performance order storage (COT) ? This feature shouldn’t be enabled, the New Zealand Shipping Zones for WooCommerce plugin is active and isn’t compatible with it.
]]>Hi Daniel, first time user of your New Zealand Shipping Zones for WooCommerce pluggin.
Question, when your plugin is installed and activated, does it populate WooCommerces shipping zones “Limit to specific ZIP/postcodes” with data (ie post codes)? I’m trying to get NZ’s rural delivery sorted and can only think that it can be done by limiting by postcode.
I’ve installed and activated the plugin, 4 zones within WooCommerce shipping have been added;
North Island (Rural), Zone region = New Zealand
South Island (Rural), Zone region = New Zealand
North Island, Zone region = Everywhere
South Island, Zone region = Everywhere
However, there is no limiting by post code contnet, does this sound like how the plugin is meant to function? I was hoping that your plugin would magiaclly populate the rural post codes area.
I’ve checked the hosting platform and php.ini reports that allow_url_fopen = On (apprently).
Any feedback is greatly appreciated…
Regards
Mark
H I’ve just installed this and set up shipping methods but wont display in cart?
]]>Hi there, I’m in final stages of website testing and have a major error. The plugin worked well previously, but believe the error has is connected to the recent WooCommerce update.
Once I’ve added items to the cart and I click “calculate shipping” I get an error message:
No shipping options found for Xxxxx “suburb” #### “postcode”
The same error message occurs when I key in the full address after proceeding to the checkout.
On the website I have a special rate for the postcode 0610 and this still works fine for this postcode.
Recently I updated this plugin. Do I need to uninstall and then reinstall it? My website shipping rates are higher for rural delivery and I have these set as special zones “North Island Rural” and “South Island Rural”. If I reinstall the plugin should I create shipping zones for all regions, ie – Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Hawke’s Bay, Southland, etc. Plus should I create extra shipping zones for all rural regions, ie – Northland Rural, Auckland Rural, Waikato Rural, Hawke’s Bay Rural, Southland Rural etc.
]]>Hey there, looks like the latest version of Woo has changed how the postal codes are kept. All North island and South island codes have dropped out.
]]>This is similar to ‘Auckland default address’ thread by felliott, already closed – but that does not help me with this issue. My default city is also Auckland and it has flat rate of $6 or local pick-up options. I have other price for outside Auckland, when purchaser choose other regions. I also made RD postcodes, that automatically adds $4.30 RD ticket and that works well. However – when purchaser willingly or by mistake leave the default region as Auckland, regardless of what address they put in – the postal charge always come up with $6 and local pick up option. Only when they put RD postcode, it gets overridden. The region is optional field and it does not end up in the final address, so it does not affect the correct labelling, but effectively give them cheaper shipping. Only way to counter this is to put all of the Auckland Urban postcodes instead of selecting Auckland region for the $6 shipping – just as I did for the RD postcodes. However – there does not seem to be any reliable complete list of urban Auckland postcodes available anywhere on the web. Can you help me?
]]>Hi, We have added shipping zones but if you leave the default Region as Auckland (in the address) it overrides the postal code zone rate. How can we rectify this?
]]>Hey there, Will this plugin allow us to disable shipping to rural delivery as an and option?
Cheers
