Has anyone figured out how to get bullet lists to work in WordPress?
I’ve spent the last two days trying to format a post based mostly on bullet lists. And no matter what I do it falls apart. My blog is 12 years old and I’ve written hundred of posts, mostly in prose form. Hence, I use bullet lists once in a blue moon.
This time I wrote a 3,000+ character post that’s mainly made of bullet lists. And, of course, some of those bullet lists have more than one paragraph under a bullet. Some even have sub-bullets under a bullet.
I wrote the post in Apple Pages (like I always do) and exported it as text. Then I placed the plain text in. WordPress (like I always do) and attempted to format it.
Well, I can’t get WordPress to add some padding under the first paragraph of a bullet and the paragraph below it. Why would I want to do that? Because the way it is now it just looks ugly. Furthermore, to the reader it just looks like one big blob of copy. I need some separation between my paragraphs.
When I try to create sub-bullets it changes the bullets above. Altogether it’s driving me crazy.
Please excuse me if I sound irritated, but after two days of pulling my hair out I’m almost ready to delete the article altogether and stick to prose.
Am I missing something here? Can this be solved with CSS?
I’ll appreciate whatever help you can send my way!
P.S. Just in case it makes a difference, I’m using the Classic Editor. Also, I didn’t link to the article because I haven’t yet published it.

Issue: Extra space is added between the levels. Please see this page as an example: https://www.tipsforsuccess.org/numbered-list-text-test-page
Is there a way to make the space between the levels equal?
]]>Start ordered list and first item is #1
Figured out on my own that hitting Shift+Enter starts a second level with A. Hitting Shift+Enter from there does not start a third level.
What now?
Any chance you could create a FAQ tab here on the plugin page and write a couple of sentences on How To Use?
thx

Tried out this plugin, which worked great, except now I see it doesn’t work correctly when there is a start number for a list, e.g.
Ended up just using css which suffices for my purposes:

Hello.
I have the strangest situation. Letters in the headings seems to randomly appear faded out. For example, if the heading is: “SATURDAY”, then the letter T and A may appear faded out..almost like a typewriter that didn’t correctly stamp the letter on a page. It seems to happen to bold text specifically.
I do not get this faded look when I make a normal header using a default WP header block.
Also, it is also happening elsewhere in the nest… wherever there is text in bold text the body of the post, it has this random faded look in some of the letters, but not all..
Any idea what this is about please?

This does not look good. Is it possible to deactivate / mask out the plugin on specific pages (maybe with css / page id?)
Thanks Patrick
]]>Hello.
I have used the Nested Ordered Lists and it works fine in WP editor – everything is in perfect order, see: the screenshot here. However, it is not displayed properly on the page. See how it is displayed here: the actual display here.
Why is that?

Michal
I have determined that the plugin causes conflicts on post comments. With the plugin deactivated, post comments displays correctly, but when the plugin is activated, comment avatars seem to overlap user name and avatars are not all the same size.
Please could you assist

I just installed you plugin because it is something I really need. But, even though the visual editor shows lower case alpha for the second level, the live page shows numbers – starting at 1.
I have purged cache to make sure that is not the issue. Did not solve it.
As others have stated, I would also like to be able to change the letter / number options. I’ll live with it if it works but would pay for the feature as long as not exorbitant.
