I am using your plugin for a while but I notice my website crashes because the plugin generates errors.

Hi –

I recently created a menu for different external links (Terrazzo Associations) by state. When the user selects their state, they’re taken to the appropriate association website. This works fine on desktop, but the links don’t work on mobile. I wasn’t able to find any errors in the console. Any suggestions?

Just started looking for this type of solution, however after installing and activating the plugin on a multisite subsite, which happens to have the “new” widget/sidebar interface, and I don’t see your widget available in the list. Am I missing something? Or is there by chance a shortcode method or other workaround? Much appreciated.

I have faffed about trying to get the widget centered on my side bar but to no avail. It’s perfect for what I need, except it just needs centering, and I can’t seem to save any custom css classes for it, nor really know how I would center it then if I could. Any help would be massively appreciated!

I used “widget shortcode” plugin to get shortcode, works well in theme locations, but when I inserted the shortcode in beaver builder lite, it just shows as plain drop-down, links don’t work.
Please look into it.

After installing the latest update my drop down list are now pulling the whole title name after selecting one of my listed items and the menu becomes very wide. I didn’t have this issue prior to the update. if I selected an item from the list it just displayed just the navigation label. would anyone be able to help with this issue?

Hi Jeroen, you have developed a great plugin. Maybe it’s just us, but we get a weird addition in the dropdown menu when you’re on the selected page. How can we solve this?

But is there another, maybe easier way without installing another plug-in? The shiftnav Plug-In isn’t updated for a while. I use the same Dropdown twice (for desktop and mobile view).

I had created a wordpress navigation menu with popups on each menu element with WP popup maker, using this guide: https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/51-open-a-popup-from-a-wordpress-nav-menu

It worked fine, until I placed the menu in the dropdown widget, using this plugin.
Is this plugin not compatible with popups/WP popupmaker? Or did I do something wrong?

I created a navigation menu including terms of different length:
e.g.
name 1: blahblahblahblah
name 2: blahblahblahblahblahblah
name 3: blahblah

I wanted to automatically truncate them for a viewer to form:
name 1: blahblah…
name 2: blahblah…
name 3: blahblah

I was able to truncate them after implementing a super tiny snippet of code.

It worked great for categories displayed as a dropdown widget. Is there any way, it could work also using your plugin?

I am naive wp-developer-beginner. I will be thankful for any help.

Is there a way to replace the initial value by the current selected menu item ?
Example if user select “Cars”, it will be displayed instead of “Select page”
if he select “Moto”, it will be displayed instead of “Select page” etc…

Probably this is not possible or very difficult, but I have a combination of pages and categories (articles) in a menu. The preselect function is not working for categories, only for pages. Is this possible to fix?

I have a question. For me, a selection is always “made” as soon as a post is displayed in the category or the home page. Then the text for the selection of the page does not appear but one of the selected page.

How can you ensure that the selection text is always displayed?

This is a great widget, but I have one small issue. Can it be setup so that the links in the drop down menu open in a new tab? I have the links all set to open in a new tab, but when you choose them from the drop down list, they open in the same tab. If there is someway I could fix this, I would be perfect.
