Signature Version 3 requests are deprecated from March 1, 2021. From that date on, we are progressively rejecting such requests. To resolve the issue you must migrate to Signature Version 4. If you are self-signing your requests, refer to the documentation for Authenticating requests to the Amazon SES API [1] with Signature Version 4 [2]. If you are not self-signing your requests, simply update your SDK/CLI to the latest version. Is there any plan to upgrade the plugin in order to solve this error?

hi, after many ours debugging here some help for others stumbling on the same.
Mymail in cinjunction with amazon ses works great but for internal wp forms like form contcat form 7 its not working stable. To many problems. sometimes it workjs somettimes not.

I still use the option ‘use mymail template only for wp mail’ and in that combination it works great.

My hosting company recently blocked port 465, which I understand this plugin uses to communicate with AmazonSES, which I used.
As a result, this plugin can’t be used with AmazonSES anymore.
Can the port be configured differently other than what’s default or hard-coded?

wp_mymail_actions shows that sunscribers do get multiple copies as the count is more than 1

]]>My email is verified and amazon ses is configured correctly. I can confirm this because I use the WP SES plugin for all my other WordPress administrative emails.
But I get the following error when I test email in Settings > Delivery
I get below error in web api
Couldn’t send message. Check your settings!
Email address is not verified.
I get below error in smtp api
Couldn’t send message. Check your settings!
Class SMTP Error: data not accepted. doesn’t exists
Check your console for more info.
Please help resolve this issue.

using myMail to send all WordPress-Mails in combination with amazon SES doesnt work. Contact-Forms tell, that the mail coud not be send.
Setting myMail up to send all mails using “notificstion.html”, most mails where send without mymail.

]]>Greetings, I’ve configured plugin with my MyMail installation, with success credentials. Now when y try to send a campaign after few seconds got paused and show error
Campaign XXXXXXXXXXX has been paused cause of a sending error: Couldn’t resolve host ’email.us-west-2.amazonaws.com’
After put in contact with hosting support several times, MyMail plugin are able to send email campaign with default config, but without success on Amazon SES config. Every single port needed are open, as SystemInfo show
Port 110 (pop3) open.
Port 995 (pop3s) open.
Port 993 (imaps) open.
Port 25 (smtp) open.
Port 465 (urd) open.
Port 587 (submission) open.
And still campaign cannot be sended. I’ve send any quantity of test email without problem, they work fine and email receive all delivered testing email, changed PHP sending version, but still campaign cannot be send, and error show over and over.
Even into Amazon SES console, everything are just fine, domain validated, email validated, smtp credential and tokens revalidated, refreshed, reconfigurated, created and tested with others email (discarting email trouble), dozen of email test delivery; everything on Amazon SES are just working fine.
What could be wrong?

]]>Our host is WP Engine and their execution time is set to a firm 60 seconds. Because of this I’m getting cronjob error. How should we change the delivery settings in case like this?
It is now delivering but one about 800 emails in last 24 hours. Our SES account says we can send 10,000 emails in 24 hours.

]]>It is not picking the ‘EU (Ireland)’ settings and sending limits; as production access on my account is enabled in this region, and not the ‘US West’ or ‘US East’ region.
Every time I try and send a test email I get:

]]>I’ve configured the plugin and created a user and pass for SMTP within AWS. I’ve obviously installed MyMail Plugin also.
When I attempt to send a test email, it gives me an error: “SMTP Error: Data not accepted. Check your settings”
I’ve tried it a second time, making sure I’m copy pasting the correct smtp username and pass details into the ‘Delivery Method: AmazonSES’ section of MyMail plugin but the problem persists.
Please advise what steps I can take to solve this problem?
I’ve got email from AWS saying I have been granted production access to Amazon SES and I’ve verified my domain and setup DKIM.
