Got the error “SB Welcome Email Editor can not function because another plugin is conflicting. Please disable other plugins until this message disappears to fix the problem.” right after I installed myEASYbackup plugin.
Any clue what might conflict?
When you create a data set with your database tables, where in the zip are they?
I LOVE YOUR PLUGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
]]>The section of the settings form for selecting the save path is missing.
And while we’re here… could you jam any more spam onto the settings page?
]]>Hello,
Thank you, this is great plugin, I have try for one hosting server and it works well with default setting and without any issue.
For the second host server, I have problem while I installing this plugin.
So this is what I see in display:
============
Script execution halted: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes)
It looks like that your data set is big enough to need more memory than the actually allocated to your account (32Mb).
I can try to help you out, providing your hosting service does not prevent me to allocate more memory for your PHP scripts!
Please try the following:
? click on the button here below to open the settings page
? scroll the available settings until you find the one labeled “Memory available to PHP”
? change the value to a bigger amount, the value you enter here represent the number of megabytes that the plugin will try to allocate when creating a data set — such amount will be allocated only while creating a data set.
–Open the setting page–
Note: remember to save the new setting by clicking on the “Update Options” button once you have changed the setting!
============
So, I try to click “Open the setting page”, but it doesn’t work, still in the same page that display alert above, and I have try to increase memory limit to 64MB in my hosting, also it doesn’t work.
I didn’t understand why the warning said that try to allocate 122 KB memory, and allowed memory is 32MB.
Use only 122KB of 32MB memory.
I cannot go any where in my dashboard. It always display that error.
I also cannot deactivate this plugin.
So, I only can delete entire folder myEASYbackup, and reinstall, but also get the same error.
How to fix this?
Thank you.
The plugin appears to work out of the box.
But this notice (see below) appears before the plugin begins to do its work. It does its work including downloading the backup to my computer.
“The upload folder: wp-content/uploads does not exsists on the server.
You must create the upload folder and assign it writing privileges to be able to use the myEASYbackup plugin and to upload media! Click here to edit the upload folder name”
What does this mean ?
]]>The entire settings system is wrong, the browsing selector pane is not opening and bunch of many countless bugs that rendered what once was the best backup utility and useless junk… the plugin even after removal keeps some sql trash and some changes into wordpress files or content.
broken blog errors is irreversible.
This plugin needs to be re-built from scratch including it’s settings smartly and automatically removable during deactivation or deletion
no changes or effects should remain after uninstallation.. this causes un desired and permanent errors to my site.. :@ I’m furious!
It’s that simple after upgrading to the latest version I faced some directory errors.. such as auto creating a folder with “nobody” as the owner.. hindered the backup process.. and later on.. the backup button ( brief case button ) although available doesn’t give any onClick reactions to it :S I’m so confused! I reinstalled.. I manually installed. and checked my Database.. I’m not enough smart to re-write the php code manually.. I’m a noob!
O.O please check it up .. if you like to login as admin to my site you are welcome.. but contact me in a private manner..

and thereby run arbitary code of their choice. It looks like there are a host of similar holes in other parts of the code (meb_settings.php), but marginally more complex to exploit.
This code is either amateurish, or deliberately written to be exploitable (conditionally assigning values to $_POST?? What is that? It is either sloppy stupidity, or evil genius).
IMHO, avoid this software until it has had a proper security review.
]]>Once I upgraded MyEasyBackup to the latest version, and I click on Tools > myEasyBackup, I can no longer see anything below the title of the plugin. The screen comes up but is blank. I went to another WP site with 3.0.2, and checked the MyEasyBackup plugin and saw that it was working. I upgraded the plugin to 1.0.5 on that site and now it too doesn’t work.
So, the 1.0.5 version of this plugin does not work with 3.0.2 or 3.0.3 WP installation. Please fix, for I really liked the plugin.

Also, the mysqldump path is no longer recognized as correct.
Hope you can fix this soon, as we can no longer create backups now.
Did a manual upload and all files are replaced.
Thanks,
Tom
I did backup and download it but there is no myEASYrestore.php at all, just myEASYrestore_ini.php wich do nothing!
The point is that I want to keep backup file on my hdd and later on, if such need come up, upload it to server and start restore procedure.
