This is the error message I receive every time I click “Make Live” while logged in as an administrator.
Any suggestions for how to prevent duplicate posts from occurring? I’ve checked different topics to not have the same keywords.
]]>Some feeds include extraneous text like subscribe boxes or an error when there is a video. These bits of text then show up in every imported article from that source. A nice feature would be the ability to set a Find and Replace to remove text when it is imported.

I have a question, bear with me, I do not know if I am using the correct phrases to describe it correctly.
I am in the process of converting some of my curated posts into more permanent original content. Can the original web page data captured in the curation process be removed from the WordPress post (dashboard view), or would I need to make a brand new post with the same URL?
Is it embedded in the post and actually a part of my site, or is it pulled from the original URL each time I open the post in the dashboard?
If I were to remove MyCurator completely and reinstall it later, what happens to this data? Does it remain embedded in the post?

]]>I tried to use Get It to add the this Youtube video and it would not add it. I have done this numerous times and it always worked fine. This time the screen just hung. I tried with other YouTube videos and same thing.
Have there been any changes at YouTube to stop it from working? I am running the most recent version of My Curator.

]]>Hello, when I add the Get it! bookmarklet to my browser and click it from the wp-admin page, it works fine. Then I switch a tab to an external website from which I’d like to grab and create post via the bookmarklet, I get an error message: “Forbidden, you do not have access.” A week ago it worked fine. I already read it may be related to some entry in my .htaccess file. Can you hint what entry to look out for im .htaccess? Thx

]]>There are some layout issues on my sources pages where the “Thank you for creating with WordPress” and version text that should be at the bottom is halfway up the table of sources, overlaying the text. Looks like the sources are all displaying. The html validator shows a couple unclosed divs on that page.
I logged out, cleared cache, tried Safari and Chrome. Doesn’t look like anybody else has mentioned this so maybe it’s just mine for some reason. Seems like it’s still functional, just distracting.

I am creating LatinoLosAngeles.com and MyCurator is an excellent addition.
A problem is that the curated articles’ text comes in only one paragraph. Moreover, that only paragraph starts with the caption of the featured image and then the byline, instead of the text of the story, divided by paragraphs.
How can we get the text to reflect the paragraph division in the original text?

]]>The software is very good and runs smoothly. But there is one exception: The system does not seem to support the so-called umlauts in the German character set. I wonder if there is some way to add a generic disclaimer comment to the beginning of each post.
With regard to copyright, I want my readers to understand that are reading curated content and the full story is at the link. Currently, I use 200-word excerpts and have the attribution link at the bottom of the excerpt.
I use the phrase “Click here to view the original web page at:” before the link.
Any tips or suggestion is welcome.

Just thought I’d try this out seeing as ‘press forward’ has been removed from the repository.
I placed the ‘get it’ bookmarklet into my bookmarks bar, and every website that I click onto to ‘get it’ returns a 403 error.
This is exactly the same effect that the ‘press this’ plugin started to do.
What is wrong, please?
]]>I’m trying to set up the get it tool as a bookmark but it is not working. I dragged it into my bookmarks bar and then when I tried to add an article the pop up window shows the following: “ Not Acceptable! An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.”
So then I followed the instructions to create a bookmark in my bookmarks manager and copy and paste the code into the url space and save. Did that and I’m still getting the same message?
Does anyone have any solutions for what I can do to solve this and get it to work properly?

Great reviews. I get all my feeds into Feedly. I scan through, read those who may interest me. I then push them to Pocket App to keep for duration.
Instead of pulling all my feeds into your app is there a way to use my pre check duration before I pull it into WordPress.
I am not sure if you are familiar with the newsletter tool Twitter bought. It’s called Revue. They link to a sidebar, in the compose window, to various feeds including rss, Instagram, and Pocket for example. You can then compile your post (email in their case) etc using these curation input by dragging and dropping a topic in the composer.
I was thinking of composing my post in Revue and repost it in wordpress but hoped their is an in wordpress solution.

I have started trying out MyCurator and have come across a minor, or potentially major issue.
When I decide to make a post live it does so using the original article link as the permalink. This means that when I share the post online and people click on the link it goes to the original post and not to my site.
Is there a setting I has mistakenly turned on that I should turn off? Perhaps there is a clash with another plugin?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On our site, 3dprintingtoday.com, we have been asked to remove some 400 posts of curated content linking to a specific URL after curating articles for over two years without an issue. ::SIGH::
Currently, we are having to do this manually. is there a way to remove curated content linking to a specific URL globally?
As we have some 6000 curated articles from across the web, a feature like this would be wonderful to have.
]]>We have two topics set up in MyCurator and are currently training posts. In the Training Posts interface, when All Topics is selected and the filter button is clicked, it works as it should, showing all posts (currently about 300). When you select a single topic from the menu and filter again, it shows no results. This is the case whether you select for All Relevance, Bad, Good, or Not Sure. This seems like a bug, since I know we have multiple posts for each type of relevance.
