The plugin sort of works – but about one out of every 10-20 times someone visits my wordpress site now (REGARDLESS if they visit the PAGE where the plugin appears), they get a blank screen with a simple text message on top:
“Problem in connect to Foursquare.com at this time ,Please try again”
(a grammatically challenged message, written by MyFourSquare?)
after 1-2 refreshes my site appears.
I isolated the problem to the ‘My FourSquare’ plugin. When I disable this pluginin, the error stops.
Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /htdocs/public/www/wp-content/plugins/my-foursquare/my-foursquare.php on line 78

Whats up with that?
]]>I have now implemented Oauth authentication and a few other security measures to make My Foursquare more secure. Thanks to everyone for suggesting these ideas.
I have also added a wider version of the Facebook app (8 badges wide) for those Foursquare fiends who have mad badge counts and needed a better layout.
Thankyou,
Dave (developer of My Foursquare)
My Foursquare now has support for Google Maps. You can show your last checkin on a map.
