1 – You can only have one album and one cart per page. If you have multiple albums on different pages, the visitor cannot add songs across pages to the same cart. They must create a separate cart for every album page and check out multiple times. Deian agreed this was an issue and offered to fix it months ago. All I get is lip service and excuses for the delay every time I email him, which has been several times (and I have all of our correspondence filed).
2 – Twice now, all of my song titles and pricing has disappeared and the song list on all pages changes to the string (mp3) where each song title used to be. If you click the word (mp3), it gives you an option to download the matching file for FREE!!!, which is the actual full song.
I now have 13 albums (pages) with between 6 and 12 songs each that no longer have song titles or pricing. My song titles included the musicians, the songwriter and the song length, all manually typed. It will take me over a day to rebuild them even if the bug gets fixed. Who’s going to pay me for that? I’d rather start over with some other music seller software or try to set it up in WooCommerce as a digital file store.
I have asked for a refund.

Adendum … I figured out what caused the store to remove the song title and price. I used WordPress Quick Edit on those pages from the “all pages” list in the dashboard. I tested it with a test album page. I didn’t change anything. I just clicked Quick Edit and Update and it broke the page. Be careful!!

The plugin doesn’t work on my specific theme. It has worked on another, but this particular theme, it doesn’t work. Developer could not help, an did not refund for $20 version. Make sure the free version works before upgrading.
On other theme, plugin is ok. Really not crazy with design.

I tried this plug in on multiple websites, with multiple versions of wordpress on multiple servers and the result is always the same, a invalid argument error.

I purchased Quicksell to use it with sales of a digital version of my magazine and it turned out to be just tailored to fit my needs!
I am not a joomla pro, but setting it up was really, really easy. It really is intuitive and quick.
The biggest pros are:
– Unique link for every order and limited downloads to protect against piracy
– Smooth Paypal integration and quick checkout with no extra steps required
– Versatility in how the file is delivered (website download, link, attachment)
– Customisable buttons
– Remarkable level of support from Deian, he really went an extra mile to meet my needs.
I didn’t really come across any cons so far. In the future, I’d love to see an option for a spread view in the pdf encryption (not just portrait or landscape).

Selling digital goods online is prone to piracy but this extension helps combat that in 2 ways. Firstly, every download URL is unique and limiting the amount of downloads ensures that the download link is useless if passed on.
Secondly, and unique to this extension, you have the choice to encrypt the PDF with the buyers email.
The best thing about this extension though, despite it working flawlessly and being very easy to use, is the support. Deian has been incredible. He’s replied to all my emails in less than a few hours and has answered them all and answering all my questions.

I am always wary of multiple reviews full of praise with 5star ratings. Yet I found myself compelled to register here in order to make a similar review. The extension just works! A question I asked, because I failed to find a plugin ( my own mistake) was answered promptly and with patience. If you need to sell subscriptions, with little fuss, this is the one I think is the best, especially for newbies to ecommerce.

This extension is made for those who don’t want to loose time to setting up a complex online shop. Settings are really easy to understand, features very usefull and customization simple. It works fine for 1 or 10 products as well for hundreds.
And at least but not the least, the developper is always here to help in case of trouble.

The extension is pretty cool, not at all complicated, selling files online couldn’t be made easier. I got a special deal from the developer, I think it was mutually beneficial for both of us. I had some issues with the website but he was quick at responding and sorting it out. That’s what I like about paid extensions – the professional support which is well worth the money. So both the developer and his product are highly recommended.
