Hi there,
I am helping a friend with their online music store.
When making a purchase for a track, everything seems to be working up until the paypal payment.
Once I click Return to Merchant, I get a page https://www.johntdavis.ca/thank-you/?task=thankyou&key=0dd1cf5141183537a8c1eb21b7862cc4 with the message “Sorry, order not found, please wait the screen will refresh in 5 seconds!”
Could you please shed some light as to why this keeps happening?
Thank you!
]]>Hi there,
I bought this plugin because the developer has declared that it also works with .wav files.
Unfortunately it does not work with these files.
I contacted him by mail and he confirmed that the plugin doesn’t work with this type of files, and that he would find a solution.
Unfortunately still not solved and I’m waiting to know how to get a refund.
I noticed many of the questions don’t have answers. Is this still being developed and maintained? I’m looking to sell music online and would like to be able to list multiple songs on one page and provide preview 30-second clips.
]]>Is it possible to display MP3 files as seen here: bit.ly/2jEJWSY? We’re trying to replicate the experience, but also include 30-second song clips and the ability to purchase more than one MP3 at a time. Thanks for your help.
]]>I am having trouble uploading .wav files to my music seller script on my WP site. I know that the server allows for 64 mb to be uploaded at once, and my .wav files are far below this. Also I have tried uploading .mp3 files and it works. I am wondering if there is anything wrong that I am not doing.
Thanks

]]>HI, I am creating an online community that I will manage, of online music sellers. Is MUSIC STORE the plugin I need for all individual community members to be bale to have their own store, but yet let me be the community leader as such or manager for a better word ?
]]>I added [music-seller-thank-you] to the KCB page of my WordPress website. I was able to upload, preview, and purchase the song I uploaded. But when directed back to my website from Paypal, there is nowhere for the buyer to actually downlaod the song. The [music_seller_thank_you] just seems to hace added another mp3 playback icon and buy now buttons rahter than the Thanl You verbage and any DOWNLOAD LINK. Can you help me?
]]>Is it possible to show standard html5 audio player for each sound file in the post?
]]>Im using the “songwriter” theme. The player looks fine when its displayed on the home page, but when you click the individual post, its off.
I just bought this, it would be nice to have an empty cart button. I know there is a little button in the player to remove from cart, but not really obvious.
]]>Refer to https://phiremusicbeats.com/beats-for-sale/
I have used this music seller in the past, so I am positive something is wrong.
The player is not being displayed correctly, and therefore it is not showing the songs, and other features. You can’t click anything, where you are supposed to. Therefore, it appears something is wrong with player.
FYI: I have the $20 version.
]]>I’m having a series of issues with the MusicSeller plug-in installed on a WordPress site at
https://guitar.robinsomes.co.uk/wp/
I’m using the pro version of the plugin, the twentyfifteen theme, unmodified, and I’m adding content to a page, rather than a post.
1.
I appear not to be able to upload more than one media file at a time. Let’s say, I’ve uploaded the first four, individually, and added the title and price information and the preview file for each. I get a bit bored of waiting, so I decide to add the rest in a batch; I click the ‘Add more files’ button, add the MP3 files for the next 6 tracks, and click Update. Now, when it’s finished uploading the files, instead of refreshing the view of the page I’m editing, it goes to the Posts menu. If I return to the page, I find that the 6 MP3s I just added have all disappeared, as has the title, price and preview file information of the 4 tracks I originally added.
This happened to me numerous times while setting the site up; I thought I had got it stable with 15 tracks uploaded, I changed the font of one line of text on the page, and the whole lot disappeared again. Went through the backup versions saved by WordPress, but unable to salvage anything. Got it all set up again, changed the title of the page – boom, it all disappears again. It’s *very* frustrating. FTPing into the wp-content folder of the site, I see that the various failed revisions have left several copies of each track bloating up the server. Not obvious at first glance which ones may be safely deleted.
Having eventually got the site sorted, I put through 2 test orders. The actual ordering went OK, but…
2. On payment completion, there’s no obvious link from the PayPal Success page back to the download page where the user can get the music he just paid for. There *is* a link saying “Back to robin@*******.co.uk” – the email address of my PayPal account, but there’s no indication to the user that that is the link he needs to follow to get his goodies. This despite having set the “PayPal Return to site button text” option in my MusicSeller settings.
3. There was no email sent to the user (in this case, me) with the download links in it. There *was* a payment confirmation email via PayPal, but no active links in it. Again, despite having set this option in the Settings. So if the user doesn’t follow the unhelpful link in PayPal, he’s not going to get his music at all.
4. If I look in ‘Music Seller Orders’ on my site dashboard, I see not 2 orders, but 30 (15 duplicates of each one I put through) – 28 of which were not successfully downloaded. The orders date from 11.35 pm on 5/02/2015 to 9.14pm tonight, 7/02/15. Huh?
5. Of the 2 genuine orders, one was £7.85, the other £8.80. In my list of orders, that has come out at £880. Yes, eight hundred and eighty pounds.
6. For the two orders, I have to date received 15 identical confirmation emails for the first, and none at all for the second.
7. Sent a request for support by email over 48 hours ago, and not received even an acknowledgement.
In short, it appears to be a very frustrating and disappointingly flawed plugin. Would be grateful for some kind of assistance to restore my faith…
]]>Hello
I purchased the business version of the plugin and recently I updated for the new version, but the update blocked back the extras the business have. How can I resolve this?
]]>Hi, there any chance I could get you to get back to me please. Because now, besides not playing on Android, it is not taking me to Paypal when I press the buy now button. If I do not hear back from you by tomorrow I will be forced to contact paypal with a complaint to have the funds reversed. Sorry man, but this amount of time to get back to me on these issues is not acceptable. Thank you,
Greg
]]>Hi, I just started using/testing this last night and although it’s generally testing very well, the music is not playing on Android. Please advise, thank you so much!
Greg
]]>Hi, I tried the free version, and loaded up everything correctly (new page, uploaded the mp3, priced it, named it) and the songs didn’t play, and there was no player showing. So I paid for the $20 version and activated it while I still had the 2.9 version. It came up the same was as the free version. So I deleted them both, cleared all caches on the site and my Mac, and re-installed the paid version (which in my downloads read at “music-seller” as opposed to “2.9” being attached for the free one). But when I installed it, first of all, it still said 2.9 in my Plugin list, and then it brought back, automatically, the 7 or so songs I had uploaded with the free version, and then it either displayed it the same as the free (no player) or came out really weird with just “mp3” going diagnally across the screen.
I’m sure there’s something I’m not realizing, so please help. Thank you so much-
Greg
]]>hi. there is only the order option from the Music Seller tab, and on the page there is none of the options for uploads, shortcodes etc as in Ebook Store. whats going on Mr Devloper????
]]>I have tried your plugin on various websites, with various wordpress versions, on various servers and always the same issue. I get the error – Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ../music-seller/functions.php on line 424.
I am planning on getting the full version but if I cant get the free version to work then I have to go else where.
Thanks
