hi
this plugin not working with wp 5.
please upgrade to supporting this plugin
If a caching plugin hooks into pre_wp_nav_menu
and returns HTML, WordPress will return it immediately and skip most of the wp_nav_menu()
function.
Therefore, your plugin never has the opportunity to switch back to the origin site and you’re left with a broken site after rendering the menu.
You need to hook pre_wp_nav_menu
very late, and then check if there is HTML to return. Only switch sites if it’s safe to proceed.
I installed Multisite Shared Menu and all works well on main domain and six of my seven sub-domains, but on my Dating Service, when a logged in member clicks on “Members” we get a list of about 20 lines of the same warning as follows:
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-filters.php on line 199
I am using WP 4.8, BP 2.8.2, GeneratePress Child Theme, but the issue is also there using Twenty-Sixteen
I have deleted BP and reinstalled but it didn’t help. Can you give me some idea of how I might fix this problem please.
]]>I love this plugin! It works perfectly on 7 of my 8 sub-domains. On my one sub-domain however I am getting warnings of
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-filters.php on line 199
I tried reinstalling BuddyPress but it didn’t help. I have had to resort to going back to my original copy of my primary menu.
Can you tell me please how I might troubleshoot this. I’m a wee bit familiar with making changes to phpMyAdmin if necessary.
Thanks!
]]>Hello Ben
Would you know if this works with the current version ?
many thanks
Paul
Hello,
I am using this plugin on a Multisite with 300+ subsites. After activating this plugin on a subsite the admin bar acts like I’m on the primary site.
I’ve had this happen in the past and it was caused by switching blogs in the code and not setting the current blog back when I was done.
Please let me know if you can fix this issue or I’ll have to hack you plugin.
Thanks!
]]>The plugin is not tested to work with my version of WordPress (saw that before installing), but hoped for the best, because this has been a great Plugin for me in the past.
The strange part about it’s performance is that the MAIN SITE menus stop working when the PLUGIN is activated, but the sub-sites work like a charm in pulling the menu from the main site.
As a result, the main site will not load any menu at all…but the sub-site have no problem pulling the menu from the main site and displaying them as expected.
Any chance there is an update coming to the Plugin that would resolve this issue? It would be nice to continue using this awesome plugin for my new Multi-site install.
Thanks for the great work, Ben.
]]>Hi, would this plugin work with a MegaMenu if the MM plugin is installed network-wide?
Thanks
]]>Can you add an option so that when the menu is pulled from the master, it alters all of the links to make them relative to the multisite that is being displayed / that they user is now on?
In other words,
wordpress.com/root/the-quick-brown-fox-jumped-over-the-lazy-dog
should change to
wordpress.com/apples/the-quick-brown-fox-jumped-over-the-lazy-dog
wordpress.com/oranges/the-quick-brown-fox-jumped-over-the-lazy-dog
if the site that the user is looking at is wordpress.com/apples or wordpress.com/oranges
Thank you
]]>Hi Ben,
I have an established multisite created with blog template. All sites created with blog template use the same theme as main site.
There are currently 400 sites. I need to adjust the menus on the subsites and I am wondering if I activate this plugin, does it “copy” the menu from the main site and over-write previous settings or is it using a “switch to blog” approach – and disregarding the subsites menus?
]]>Hello,
i’ve upgraded to wordpress 4.3, maybe it doesn’t work with this version?
Any idea to fix before next release?
Thank you for your great work,
Marco.
]]>I am trying to create a megamenu siteside.
I have ceates a menu with menupost and widgets using max mega menu.
The menu from main site shows all right on subsites, but the widgets, that have been added by Max mega menu dont show. I have tried with calendar and search
Is there a way to accomplish, that the menu is exactly the same on all sites.
menuicons show all right
I have gone through the seven steps listed on the installation tab and I am not seeing anything on my second site. Is there another step I need to take to make it “appear” on my second site?
I am using the same theme on both.
I only activated the plugin on the second site.
I can choose the site and the menu in the shared menu settings.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Julie
doesn’t seem to work with 4.2.2 but I’m not holding my breath for an update. No activity here and link to plugin homepage is 404 with no mention of the plugin on his site. Oh well, it was a nice thought
]]>Both of my sites are using the same theme, and I’ve only installed the plugin on the 2nd multisite instance. I select the correct “master” site in Source Site (site #1), then the Menu Location, but nothing changes on my Site #2, for either menu location that exists on Site #1.
Can you provide more detailed instructions on what may be going wrong?
]]>I have four sites on my multisite installation. I’ve installed this plugin on Site #4, and would like to pull in Site #2’s menu (the plugin is NOT active there, per your instructions).
In the “Source site” dropdown, each site just shows as ‘/’ and the three source menu location options are the ones from Site #4’s theme, not the site I wish to pull in.
The instructions are vague but I’m pretty sure I’m following them correctly!
]]>Hi,
Would you please update it?
]]>It would be nice if you could add some directions/info, like
