Alias to main/master domain create a 301 redirect loop and crash website ??

the check status is a good idea, but on my webhost nginx is redirecting everything to https before it reaches WP so your check says

The domain or a redirect does not point to this blog.
Last Redirect to: https://alias.web.site:443/

because if I call the full domain with protocol with curl I get the desired 301 redirect.

maybe your check should follow a redirect if its only for https? or maybe easier it should test the redirect with a https url always (websites should not use http anymore anyway)

do you have a github for this plugin? then I could help with the code.

this looks like a great plugin, unfortunately, it seems it needs few more baby steps.
I was trying to Install it the traditional way, unfortunately, it requires to touch the files on the server by hand.
Despite error message (unable to write files), it was activated but not configured.
When removing (delete plugin) it runs to error again, instead of detecting plugin is still active it rather says warning and contact Administrator…bad. The plugin needs to be deactivated first, then uninstall works as usual.

I believe this feedback will help you to sort out some hick-ups.
