Hi Andreas,
We are currently using your simple but very effective password solution on our side, and we absolutely love it. However, I’m unsure how to change the default visualized title text. I would greatly appreciate your help with this.
Thank you so much in advance!
Best regards,
Jasmin
Hi there,
I would like to allow staff with Editor level access to add passwords with this plugin. At the moment, it appears that only Admins can do it and when I go to the User Role Editor to upgrade the Editor level of access, there does not appear to be a way to do this. Can you please let me know which box/boxes I need to tick on the Editor User Role to allow them to add passwords?
Thank you!
Hi, thanks for a great plugin.
What is the difference between the “standard” password check compared to activating the “alternative password check”? i.e. how does each work?
Is there any compromise to security, reliability or compatibility?
Hello!
Thank you for this great plugin!
How can we use multiple passwords (one-time) to get access for content area, limited by shortcode ?
Hello, I love the plugin and it works well. Are there any ways to include an error message when an entered password is incorrect?
Best Regards,

I got a notice that this plugin is vulnerable.
Will there be a new version?
I really like the functionality…
Hi there ??
First of all, thank you for this very useful plugin ??
Currently I have 2 warnings in my debug with emails that do not leave:
PHP Warning: Undefined array key "placeholder" in ~/wp-content/plugins/multiple-post-passwords/admin/settings-page.php on line 214
PHP Warning: Undefined array key "min" in ~/wp-content/plugins/multiple-post-passwords/admin/settings-page.php on line 206
And I noticed that in the instructions and my navigator console (from the plugin Settings), the instructions for the field “Expire passwords after x hours” are with a separation point while the entered figure is systematically transformed with a comma (via the arrows too):

Thank you for your help!
Warm regards,
Ludovic
PS: I use PHP 8.0, maybe it affects?
EDIT: I just put a round figure (1 hour) and when saving the settings, the same warnings appear all the same (strong to bet that the stories of commas and points have nothing to do so)
Question, is there a shortcode that we can put on a login page to enter one of the multi password that we create ?
Hey,
i need to password protect a lot of pages with multiple unique valid passwords.
is there a way for me to manage all passwords for all pages only once? or is it necessary for me to paste all valid passwords in each pages edit section?
Thanks in advance!
hello, I’m very interested in your plugin, it works smoothly and steady,, so I’m willing to pay for it if it includes this features,, I want my clients to use password one time then it won’t be valid anymore but they are still able to watch the content of the protected page based on cookies downloaded to this pc they used to login,, I want to control how many days this cookies can be there and after how many days it should be deleted ,, also if I can control if it’s a multi password I mean client can use it 3 times then be deleted and so on
Hello, I noticed today that I can no longer update passwords. When I want to edit a site, I am missing the Additional Passwords menu. I almost suspect that there is a compatibility problem with the current wordpress version here. Can you check this and ideally fix it?
Can you clarify the meaning of “Expire passwords after x hours”, does it mean
a) the password will expire forever and no one will be able to use it after the time set,
b) the password will expire for the person who entered it and they won’t be able to use it again after the time set but other people would,
c) it would time out and anyone who used it before would have to re-enter it after the time set to access the protected page
Hi, the testcookie-nginx-module has been enabled on the server to prevent ddos attacks.
When it is enabled, the plugin works the second time. First it displays on a white screen, then the RCPC cookie appears, and only then does the plugin work.
See if you can fix it in future versions?
Hi, is it possible to change password field so someone can see the password they are typing?
I saw WordPress fields can have an eye icon that lets you view password you’re typing. Just want to see if that’s possible with this plugin?
Thank you

Maybe I am misunderstanding how this works, but I set the “Expire passwords after x hours” field to .1, which should be just a few minutes. I assumed that after that time the password would expire and the page would no longer be available to the user who had accessed it with that password. Is this not how it works?

FOR DVELOPERS:
If I START with (say) 100 passwords linked to a page, and each one is expired after use, then there will be no passwords left for the 101st customer.
Could you include one of these options?
1) Send a email notification to admin when only 10% ~ 25% of passwords remain, (so they can be ‘topped up’ (I know there is an email option at present, but that is per deletion rather than when they reach a certain level. This one should be quite easy to implement)
2) An auto password generator that also sends that list to a server script. (My side, server script sends email to customer, having pulled password from generated list: “Please use password XYZ”. It is removed from my server list, and – once used via plugin – removed from that list too. Stops password sharing. When <25%, generates more codes)
3) A method to “top up” passwords externally. Example, my server is down to 25 passwords. It generates 100 more, and passes back to your plugin, (or PHP code) that loads those passwords into the mySQL / metatag area, (or where ever passwords are stored) Again, this should be easy to implement via a PHP script to access the appropriate area in mySQL to store the generated passwords
First of all thanks for the plugin, it works correctly and is just what I was looking for.
My question is whether it is possible to prevent the concurrent login with the same password in more than one device at time.
For example, if the same password is entered in more than one device at the same time, the previous sessions are closed.
Thanks!
Trying to password-protect with multiple passwords the above web page. Followed the steps. Set visibility to password protected. Added the password Kryptauri202! . Hit update. Box to add additional passwords appeared. Added several passwords each on separate line. These include: bradrainey and christinetully
None of these work in Chrome, Safari or Brave.
Kryptauri202!seems to work when editing the page as the admin. But none work when just viewing. Very odd.

Hi there, in the settings you have…
Delete used passwords
– Activate to delete used passwords after a defined period of time
and
Expire passwords after x hours
Does the Delete used passwords
work along side Expire passwords after x hours
? Or are they 2 separate settings?
My confusion lies in that one says delete
and the other says expire
… what’s the difference?
Hi,
Is there a way to upload a csv file with the passwords for a page?
Is it possible to make semipermanent password ?
Looks like a nice plugin!
Is there a way to track which passwords have been used when I protect a page with multiple passwords?
I want to give each user a unique password and want to know who viewed the page.
Heya, it’s been a while since I last came to use WP so I’m a bit dependent on your kind help here, thanks in advance.
I have the following use case:
I have multiple user roles which should be able to access different pages. IE user_one can view page A and page B, user_two can view page A and C, user_three …
this should be easily possible with this plugin simply by entering the passwords for respective users on the individual pages, this I understood so far … or did I?
Now, I’d like to do the following: after logging in with their respective individual passwords user_one will be shown an overview page offering a different selection of subpages (feat. page A and B) than user_two (feat. page A and C) than user_three (feat. e.g. all subpages) than user_four…
This way every user will have their own respective offered content without seeing what they are ‘missing’
Would this be possible with this plugin? If yes how(didn’t find any docs)? If not any hints(yes please)?
Cheers
Any way of changing the appearance of the login box?
Admin and all users of this great plugin. PleaseAdmin, can you share a code which will control how to have the system delete all passwords used to protect pages after every 24 hours, let’s say I want to make my password protected pages automatically delete passwords from pages I have used them at 12 midnight everyday. This feature will really be helpful

This plugin works fine for me as far as it goes. The only problem I see is that such a short message on the protected page means that the footer appears well above the bottom of the display. Can I add some blank space to the protected page?
