Bad, does not work

It’s buggy, yes, and likely ment to be to prompt paid support requests.
I.e. Asking a simple question of the developer such as “Will this plugin do XYZ” generates an email asking you to deposit $40USD for ‘support’ then he’ll answer a question – maybe, who knows!
Great concept, hopefully one of the pro’s on here will pick up on it.

This is the only multiple category choice plugin available for WordPress. I have looked everywhere and there is nothing that works in the same way as this plugin. I LOVE IT! and I NEED IT TO WORK… When a search has been done the plugin strikes out my menu and the menu doesn’t come back until the search has been reset.
I would love this to not happen, so please, please, please ZACK fix the bugs on this! Also an automatic reset of the search after each search would be helpful!
I so wish you update this plugin!!!

I had to delete the plugin. It conflicted with my Special Recent Post plugin, which is a blog manager.

I was working on tweaking this plugin for a client of mine, and was appalled at the terrible security risks this plugin has. No user input validation or sanitization whatsoever. In addition, the queries aren’t even handled correctly.
I strongly urge everyone to re-consider using this plugin!

This seems to now not work after updating to the latest version. Menu and page appears all funy after searching. Does anyone know how to fix this or even suggest another multiple search widget.

I’m uncertain but looking at the support boards, it seems that the exclude posts thing isn’t working, unfortunate, but I can live with it because it does what I want.
I wish that it had two other abilities. 1) that I could override the alphabetical order of the categories in the widget and arrange them as I wish and 2)That I could choose to have the post count for each category displayed besides the category name like “Funny Stories (5)”
Can anyone tell me where I might be able to suggest this to the developers, I know it said that they don’t intend to update things and people should help, but I know nothing about developing these things, I’m dependent on the smart people who do! Thanks for the plugin!

Very buggy, hasn’t worked since 3.1.1 and developer hasn’t updated or been active in trying to find a solution to the problem. Looking for an alternative with better support.
Do not even bother using! I’ve been experiencing constant database errors, debugging points to this plugin. DO NOT USE!

version 3.1.3 of the plugin makes my pages disappear after a while, as has been noted by several others in the support forum.

It took me a few secs to find out how it works – but after that it does just what it’s supposed to do – and that really well !
Especially the hint in the discussion, that every category needs articles in it, has been very helpful ??
ok – documentary could be a bit better ??
Thanks for the nice plugin – haven’t seen something similar yet !

It still can be improved, but it seems to work fine. I use it to filter combined categories on a blog and works well.
