Is there any way to hide the parentheses+language like (English) ?
Specially when we sort the articles by their category, i’d like to delete these parentheses before the title of my posts.

Secondly, this widget must change just the language of the article not all whole of my website! Like redirection of the post to other languages

]]>qtranslate-x is not stable and has so many issues and incompatibilities I do not know why you would depreciate mqtranslate in favor of it. We have spent countless hours trying to get it to work with Visual Composer – unsuccessfully. How can you be convinced to keep mqtranslate alive? Just add a language switcher menu item and you are 1000% more stable than X.

In my previous post, I was explaining what were my plans for 2015 and the future of mqTranslate.
However, sometimes, projects do not unroll as planned. Fortunately, John Clause and the other developers behind qTranslate X have progressed very fast and new version 3.0 of their plugin is everything you might expect for a next generation qTranslate.
For this reason, as of today, mqTranslate is deprecated in favor of qTranslate X. Once installed, you can automatically import mqTranslate settings.
You can expect some dependant plugins to be broken during the migration, or get some bugs, but I strongly encourage everyone to start trying and testing qTranslate X as there won’t be any new version of mqTranslate.
Some minor settings are still missing in qTranslate X but I will pull some requests to the github repository to have them included. There is however no plan today to migrate the specific team features of mqTranslate but I do not expect it to be a problem for the most of you.
mqTranslate will still work and should be compatible with WordPress 4.2, so migrating to qTranslate X is not critical. But, once more, start testing it and send your support requests to the qTranslate X support forums to ensure everything is OK when mqTranslate will stop working.
Those last two years with you and mqTranslate were a very good moment and I am pretty sure John Clause and his team will provide a much better support than I was.

I just updated to WordPress 4.1.1. After upgrading i can use the visual editor reasonable. I deactivated all plugins to find out which one is the problem. When i acivate mqtranslate, i can’t use the visual editor, neither with or without the WP Edit plugin. The same with TinyCME advanced or the normal, built-in editor. I can’t see or use the toolbar.
Does anyone have the same issue?

I’ve used qtranslate before, but now i’ve installed the mqtranslate and the Integration of Yoast wordpress SEO module with mqtranslate module plugins. Now the problem is, that on all my pages, i get this warning:

]]>I am developing a multilingual wordpress site using qTranslate. https://new.emixis.com/ I have problem displaying the right content according to the chosen language – it just displays all languages together. This occurs at random (as I can’t see the reason) places, for example page PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS: the title is displayed three times, and the content is properly displayed.
note: Not all the content is translated yet. Please, use PRODUCTS AND SOLUTIONS for example…

]]>When I’m logged in with a user who is not an administrator, the mqTranslate Editor is disabled.
The message is: “The mqTranslate Editor has disabled itself because it hasn’t been tested with your WordPress version yet. This is done to prevent WordPress from malfunctioning. To remove this message permanently, please update mqTranslate to the corresponding version.”
I have also tried to change the constant QT_MAX_SUPPORTED_WP_MAJOR_VERSION and define it as “4.2” but is still disabled it.
With an administrator user, everything works fine.

First of all, thanks for the great plugin and for your effort in the big merge between qtranslate forks!
I’ve recently discovered a bug when trying to translate category names. The changes are simply not saved for the non-default language, when the character ‘ is present in the name.
Examples:
I create a new category called “Test d’bug” in french and “Testing bug” in english and save. No error messages. But if I edit the category both EN and FR fields are set to “Test d’bug”, FR being the default language.
Control test: If i create a new category called “test bug” in french and “Testing” in english and save, the fields are properly set.
I guess that there might be a problem when escaping the character ‘ when saving or reading from the mqtranslate_term_name element.
Let me know if I can help more with this bug.

Hi, after updating to MqTranslate to 2.9.1.2 I can’t switch the Dashboard to default language, using German and English, but Dashboard keeps in Englisch – also I can’t switch in general preferencies to German..
Frontend works with German..

I was driving me crazy why, when i put an iframe code (as youtube in example) in a post content, mqtranslate remove when save the post.
I’ve been searching for a while in google, but no answer’s found.
At last i found the reason in the code in file mqtranslate_xhaleera_addons.php versión 2.9.1.2 in function qtrans_isEmptyContent. I added iframe tag beside the others, and it runs.
I don’t know if that is for security reasons, but, i usually need this iframe code inside my posts, so, i wonder, if you could ,please, take this into consideration for future.
