It is simple and works nice for me (to some degree).
But I couldn’t add “description” to the menu (just an excerpt) and the documentation is lacking details. But otherwise: OK. ??

This is a seriously easy and handy plugin that makes your menu look great online. Sure you can dress it up with a little CSS, which is easy by the way, but it looks great straight out of the box. Well done Motopress team.

1. Big troubles with multi level menu like Bar -> Drink -> Tequila (does not support actually at all);
2. There is no template for whole menu – just list of all items without categories or shortcode which working only on standard themes;
3. Bad documentation.
I understand that you want more clients and nobody spend a time for free but please do that in right way – don’t try to sell your services via bad ‘free’ plugin.

I’ve been looking at a bunch of different restaurant menu plugins. I needed something with an easy-to-use backend along with menu formatting that would fit my theme. Out of all of them, Restaurant Menu fit my needs the best. I had some formatting and customization needs and John on the support forum was amazing at helping me get the results I needed. He really went above and beyond.

Easy to use plugin, looks good with my theme (Esplanade). A “duplicate item” button would be nice, as I have a lot of items that only need to be tweaked slightly from another. I also found it frustrating that I’m not able to change the format/layout of the menu and item pages – a more experience use could probably do more here. I like this plugin and would recommend it.

I like the menu layout and structure, did not notice any bugs yet. I would also like to see the tags sortable so if the tag is organic for example i can click it and find all organic items. anyways, good job!

I’m currently building a pizza takeway site and tried this with a few other plugins. It has everything you need to run a restaurant menu but I couldn’t use it as I wanted to incorporate a buy/order button to it. In your next upgrade please consider adding the WooCommerce shortcode support. Keep up the good work!
