This outfit is among the worst of the worst. Their plugin is antiquated, full of bugs, and their support response to it all is to sell you something like an overpriced, buggier addon. Even after paying for one of their products, they will tell you that you have to buy a “lifetime” or “annual” service plan. When you ask for support they respond with an upsell to buy an addon. They should not even be allowed to use the name “wordpress”. Stay away from this company and their products. Very shady and unprofessional. One star is too many!

I’m not sure why other people saying it says it works right out of the box when the app itself on the backend is very old-fashioned. You have to set up every little detail, create pages, categories, and link everything together and create your own shortcodes. Plus, it bogged down my site speed and I also keep running into page timeouts when trying to navigate the plugin’s backend. I was hoping to find a plugin that actually was just working right out of the box, but this is not it. I went with a different plugin instead. Instead of me trying to set this thing up for 2 hours (plus working through a slowed-down site), the other plugin, BookingPress is literally right out of the box and it took me less than half the time to get things going.

It’s great for coaches, consultants, teams, hairdressers that want a booking system – and you can have it all set up within an hour (or less)!
What you get for Free makes this a pain-free solution and I’m already planning to upgrade dozens of clients.
Plus I’m going to contact my hairdresser and her friends who are using dated methods.

We tried the free and Pro version the WordPress Appointment Booking Plugin and it turned out fantastic. Most comprehensive solution on the market right now. Really pleased with it and will certainly continue to purchase a few licences in the future.
