This is a great plugin and it is a pity that one of the functions is deprecated.
Would it be possible to bring up to date to be fully compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
Please confirm.

]]>Hi there,
This plugin works great on its own. My clients would like to nest it with another plugin however. I am trying to get this plugin to display inside the tabbed Section Widget from https://blogs.ubc.ca/support/plugins/section-widget/ .
Is there a function or shortcode I can echo in this widget?
Thanks!

p.s. If ever you feel like coding a “Top Commentators” plugin that works as good as this plugin does, a lot of people would appreciate it.
]]>Nice to see a plugin that works exactly as promised!
Thanks for this plugin.
I’m using it on Red Tide Florida and my Stupid video clips blog.
I use the Most Commented Widget on three nearly identical wordpress sites. On two of them it is fine, but on the third it displays duplicate posts and continues adding posts after the Top Five limit. Right now, it’s up to Ten posts, all duplicates. At first I thought this might have something to do with pingbacks, so I disables in some posts and that didn’t do anything. The code is identical in all three sites I run, and, so far, this problem only occurs on this one. Site: https://www.poortastemag.com/chicago/
