I’ve been trying to use the image icons for expand and collapse, but the first category just shows text and not the image. The images are my own, but it also does the same with the default images:

Displays items from the third level, although the menu is closed. After clicking on “expand” items disappear and then work OK. The second level there is no such problem.

I read the thread above re: this topic from a few months ago, but the fixes listed there did not work for me.

You can see it here – widget on the right hand side. Subcategories show as double names, i.e., Books>>AuthorsAuthors

Please advise how to fix!

This plugin was working great until the last update. Now the categories are “stuck”. Some are expanded and can not be collapsed. Others are collapsed and can not be expanded. It also added double bullets on the expanded sub categories.
Clicking on the + or – no longer has any effect

Hey, I found a tiny bug when using the graphical expand & collapse buttons. At one point in the code, it looks for the graphics to be under “collapsing-categories” instead of “mootools-collapsing-categories”. I fixed my own version, but wanted others to know how to do it until the fix is in. The error occurs on lines 374 & 376 of collapscatlist.php.

to be specific: when the option ‘Clicking on category name’ has the value ‘Expand to show sub-categories and/or posts’ then the lowest level sub-categories show up with double names.
f.i. the category ‘car parts’ shows like ‘car partscar parts’.
I tried several combinations od settings, but every time this option is used, the double names apear.

Maybe you have whitespaces or UTF-8 byte order mark in the beginning of your php files?
