I waited for three months to be accepted, only to have my account abruptly deleted shortly after. They seem to prioritize larger Dutch companies and provide no guidance on development. Dealing with their settings turns out to be a time-wasting endeavor, followed by rejection. I strongly discourage the installation of this plugin extension. They lack transparency and fail to deliver quality services. My investigations revealed server-related issues within their operations.

My business by design has little transactions, but big ones when they happen. Upon setting up my website and testing the backend, including Mollie integration, it took me a few months after that to finalize the frontpage and marketing channels and have potential customers visit the website.
Unbeknownst to me, Mollie had since disabled my iDeal checkout options after 3 months for ‘inactivity’. This was on January 2022.

I verified with support, and they said, verbatim: “We do not generally send emails regarding this.”
iDeal was disabled on their end, and I was left without any sales. Unbeknownst to me, I figured I was simply not getting enough traffic to my site leading to 0 sales, so I spent a significant amount of money on Google Ads in Q1 and Q2 of 2023, got plenty of clicks, but still no sales.
Only recently, I by accident discovered in Mollie’s dashboard over at mollie.com that my iDeal integration had been unilaterally ‘paused’ by them. Hence, my site had been operating for over a year without a valid checkout option (which also did not show up in my wordpress / woocommerce dashboard because the plugin itself was working fine). This explains why I did not sell anything. It also means all my marketing investments were completely wasted.
I dug back into my emails and correspondence and indeed found no notification of any service being disabled. They simply never told me.
Support was not helpful and was mostly confused by their own messages, referring back to an email they sent on October 6th 2 years prior, when they asked for verification documents. Support said “you still need to send documents”. I had to point out the fact that they were referring to emails of 2 years prior. Only after that, they were able to tell me they had actually unilaterally suspended my services due to ‘inactivity’.
It’s a total stretch and indefensible to not send out notifications and emails when you unilaterally disable services. They never even offered an apology for failing to send out such notification when they disable services that literally break the site and disable sales.
I’ll be looking for an alternative. Mollie is clearly unprofessional.

I submitted a very specific bug report which causes browsers to crash due to Mollie firing itself like 7-10 times, loading and firing over 7MB of javascript and stuff. They need to throttle the change event on checkout like other checkout elements/plugins. Silence for almost a month now. These are amateurs. If they would have been pros, they would immediately act on this bad implementation. Instead, seems no one cares at Mollie.

People could not pay for over two weeks. Reason: the checkout page gave this error message: “Billing Country undefined is not valid”. According to Mollie support this was due to an update in woocommerce and I had to install a paid plugin enabling a mandatory billing country field. However, Mollie seemed to be the only payment method requiring this field, all other methods I tested worked fine. This seems to be a Mollie plugin issue but instead Mollie was blaming others. Great support (not)…..

Every update of the plugin it is “fingers crossed” because of bugs/errors.
My experience is that particularly this plugin must be tested before updating on a life site. Does not work well with the WooCommerce deposits plugin. The latest version 7.3.6 is bugged and gives errors.

Lots of problems which escalated to missing every month a lot of money due to a failing payments system. Support is terrible. It takes weeks to get an answer that does not help at all. If I could give a zero starts I would do it.

Hello,
we’re using the new WooCommerce Checkout Block of Gutenberg, because it has a much better user experience than the standard checkout page.
Sadly, the checkout page isn’t showing any Payment Methods. It works on the old WooCommerce Checkout Page, but not on the Gutenberg Block. Please fix this.

very unreliable service! Suddenly all possible payment methods are no longer available on the site.
mollie_settings page in wordpress say: “No payment methods available”.
In the mollie backend (settings/profiles) all selected payment interfaces suddenly say: “in progress”.

I was using the “official” Klarna WooCommerce plugin for about two years because “Pay later” is a big thing in Germany. The problem was, that the official plugin never worked properly. Sometimes people weren’t asked for they birthday or phone number and nothing happened after they clicked on “pay”. So a lot of orders failed.
Therefore I was looking for an alternative and found it here. This plugin works great. I use it for a month now and almost no order failed. And if they failed, it was not because of the plugin but due to Klarna’s fraud prevention, which is fine.
Through Mollie I can now also see the reasons why the orders fail, which was not possible before.
So if you are looking for a plugin to use Klarna (Pay now or Pay later), then I highly recommend this plugin.
PS:
It would be great if customers get a notice, why their order failed. Because currently customers can just choose another payment provider but don’t get an error at the checkout (just at Mollie). Otherwise I am happy with this plugin.

Unfortunately after 4 weeks starting payment via MOLLIE
The support stopped the payouts to us and requested, again, documents and information we already provided.
This verification take more than 8 weeks! Over 10.000 Euro still pending at MOLLIE and we could pay out invoice, hat e best customers canceled orders etc…
MOLLIE make more trouble and the support angry because of ?unprofessional answers!
No-trust level 100%… and MOLLIE claimed 300,- Euro for ?unpaid money“ this is crime!
And still support doesn’t answer about our questions or claims

BEWARE. This plugin ONLY works with Polylang and NOT with WPML Multilingual. And they are not willing to provide this. I have suggested a solution and the answer was:

Excellent WP plugin for an excellent payment provider.
It includes a complete set of national and international payment options. Also available: recurring payments in Woocommerce and full and partial payment refunds.
This plugin works out of the box and has several options for testing and customization. With English, Dutch, German and French translations it is very easy for an international team and customers.
Mollie is a high quality psp and this plugin AND it’s support is top notch. Very service minded professionals.

We started with mollie especially because PayPal Payment method was often canceled (woocommerce, germanized) Almost each 3 Oder were not completed about paypal.
Since we have started in april, the most of paypal order were completed (98 – 99%). And we have more oder, because of additional paypment methodes.
Setup was easy and fast.
Only the Customer Service ist not soo good. Seems that you are always talking/wirting with a Computer with standard answer.

leads to Checkout not working…
this is a problem that effects hundreds of shop owners in Germany.
Now 3 weeks later I am shocked and sad that such a huge problem is not solved within 3 weeks.
Thank you for providing the 6.2.2 version that works but what about all the people out there that did not even realize the problem?
On the one hand I am so happy to have Mollie and this plugin on the other hand I wonder if I can trust a plugin team that is not able to solve such a fundamental problem.

They are very fast to give you a link to accept your clients payment, but in the case they reject your application (they wont tell you why), they block the money they received and wont pay you back. I lost more than Euros 1,600 with these gangsters

I have been selling my products on the internet for 15 years. On my website and on famous marketplaces. I wanted to take the Mollie solution to have a European payement offer. After a real struggle to get started and the loss of sales, I was surprised that after 5 months of activity without any problem, Mollie closed my account without warning me and deactivated the online payment system without justifying the reason for this closure: “the products/services marketed on your website are not in line with our company policy or represent too great a risk for Mollie”. (I sell Insignias, badges, buttons, etc.). do not choose this application. Real waste of time !!!!
