The galleries not longer display properly on smart phones
]]>Hi!
So a hosted (captive) WP site that i admin, where i got them to install this great plugin (yeah, can’t even install plugins), went and updated to 6.0.x WP without even asking nor checking if all my plugins are good to go. And i am guessing that is cause of the “View Gallery” link to an album now getting a 403 permission error at flickr.com. Maybe i’m wrong.
Is there any thoughts of updating this awesome plugin to WP 6.0.x anytime soon?
If you go to the link above, scroll down to section “Waltham Wildlife” to see the flickr slideshow, and then click on “View Gallery” to see the error at flickr.com. I’ve emptied cache, tried 3 browsers (Chrome, Safari and Firefox) and no diff.
We are all busy so any thoughts or comments much appreciated, even rants at my hosted WP site like really, upgrade to WP 6 and not tell or check in… (can’t move site due to other issues).

Hi,
I wodered where the plugin is installed. My plugin enabler doesn’t see the plugin and when I look in the plugins directory it isn’t there.
The plugin works very good, so it’s installed somewhere.

]]>I reported a similar issue 5 months ago, but tracked the issue down to another plug-in which I replaced. This time I again disabled every other plug-in, but it didn’t help.
Where we usually have the gallery, we now just get a 404 error. If I go into the rendered page source, I get something like this being created for the hyperlink to the Flickr gallery:

I’m not sure when this started happening, which is frustrating ??
]]>The above link is only one example of the problem we’re having. Every single page with the shortcode embedded has recently (I think we noticed it in the last 2-3 days) started giving a 404 error instead of embedding the slideshow ??
This could coincide with an upgrade to the most recent version of WordPress (5.3)

The Full screen functionnality doesn’t works only with Chrome (other browsers are ok). The console error message is :

]]>I’ve implemented the plugin (version 2.4.2) in my WordPress site (version 4.9.8) and it works good when I fill in the variables under Settings -> Flickr Slideshow.
API key and username is correct.
I also fill in a default Flickr photosetid
But when I add the [fshow photosetid=….] tag in my posts I end up with an iframe where the code is loaded but the data is not received from Flickr.
I end up on founding a problem in the code:
file: mobile-friendly-flickr-slideshow.php , function url_handler(). Here the $_GET variable is used to retrieve the params from the url. But when I dump and exit the $_GET variable is empty/ it doesn’t exists. WordPress security?
Hence it falls back on the default settings.
When the default Flickr photosetid is ‘0’ or an invalid id, the plugin displays an empty slider (black page)
My url looks good and has all the params (and are correct) and tested with default photosetid, which gives back the album and displays it:
[site url]/fshow_orbit_5bb4bd91513e3?photosetid=[my photosetid]&user_id=[my user id]&username=[my username]&gallery_url=[gallery url]
Also:
In orbit.php after the bottom-bar div. There is a script closing tag. But the opening tag is missing. Maybe a typo?
Google sent me a notice I have over 200 amp errors. We have traced it back to this plug-in. They said that something related to Flickr is adding the noframes tag, which is disallowed.

]]>Hi, Just installed and is looking and working good. Wondering how to get the slideshow when NOT full screen to be centered in the text box as the shortcode inside a para with text-align:center not centering it. Any thoughts? Using Beaver Builder Page Builder so will try putting in a 3 column row item and then put shortcode inside text box in the center.

Hi ! plugin works fine. Bottom bar right : link to photo = OK. But bottom left, link to gallery = ko. Actually, the code doesn’t get the userID but ‘photomatt’. I don’t know where to change or correct it among the plugin files. Could you help ?
