I had previously deleted and uploaded files just minutes previous to the White Screen of Death.
I can no longer access the front or back end of my WP website.
Obviously I don’t have FTP access (hence why I using this plugin). How can I fix this?
]]>Hello,
I looked all day long for a way to solve a specific problem (the update of plugins from WP admin dashboard overwrites the Group where my FTP user belongs, so I loose permissions and have to recreate them manually), until I found your fantastic plugin:-)
MiwoFTP seems to have unique features and I’m testing it with great satisfaction.
What I’d like in future releases:
1) possibility to see the octal decoding of permission (000 -> 777) in a specif column
2) possibility to modify permission through numeric value;
3) possibility to work in two horizontal windows, each having a default path, with faculty to drag-and-drop files/folder.
Many thanks for you job, well done!
Regards, Pier

Thanks,
Hi, thanks for this great plugin..
#Problem: when compressing to zip – it does not store empty folders.
This can cause hard to debug issues with plugins/themes, etc..
#Solution: fix file “admin/quixplorer/_lib/lib_zip.php”.
Get fixed file here:
https://github.com/megamurmulis/lib_zip.php
(Testcase provided for easy debugging)
Tried to edit wp-config.php
and it after saving it completely messed up the file.
Instead of
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
It changed all values to
define( \'WP_DEBUG\', true );
Which caused numerous problems with the db user and password being defined, now have to manually go in through FTP to edit and revert back to get the site to work again. Huge issue.
]]>HI.
1) Add .zip files UNZIP feature!! (like https://github.com/tazotodua/Simple-PHP-file-browser-manager )
2) while i try to .zip file, and input name in “name” field, then file is created, but with no extension… (of course, .zip extension was chosen in the list, but it only makes a file with name, without extension)
I’ve just switched my site to force SSL (HTTPS), and found that the plugin fails to save modifications, delete files or upload any files.
I’ve forked the plugin and made a small adjustment to the url function so that it will detect whether the page is http or https accordingly: https://github.com/usq-media-services/miwoftp
I’d love for the plugin owners to add this (or equivalent) fix for the next version!
Cheers,

Hi there,
Thanks for a great free plugin. Just wondering if there is anyway to hook in to set the default directory path instead of modifying the home_dir/home_url variables in the conf.php file directly. Just to avoid these changes being over-written by any future updates.
Thanks in advance
]]>hello
it is Possible to Connect this plugin to other ftp
Thank you
I created a .css file using the plugin. Wherever a single quote appears, when saving, a backslash gets inserted. Every subsequent save inserts another backslash, etc. etc.
For example, if the file contains a path:
(‘/wp-content/uploads’)
hitting save will result in:
(\’/wp-content/uploads\’)
and save again:
(\\’/wp-content/uploads\\’)
This goes on and on, corrupting the line, and any other line that has single quotes.

Any suggestions?
