Hello,
Is there an option to remove the blinking Alert Icon? It’s really annoying. (I’m sorry!!!)
]]>I have changed the login URL ant it was working fine until I decided to configure the Recaptcha. After I entered keys of Recaptcha, plugin started to crash. At first, the login page would not load: I would get “not found” with the new url, and the blank page with the old url.
I tried to delete the plugin and install it again – it didn’t help. I tried to disable Recaptcha and delete the keys – it didn’t help. After several attempts, the website admin area crashes, if this plugin is enabled. I get error: “This page isn’t working. It redirected you too many times.”
It looked like a nice plugin with all essential features. But unfortunately it’s not possible to use it, since there are too many bugs.
]]>This plugin does not support blocking IPv6 addresses.
]]>NOTE: I do NOT have Rate Limiting enabled.
I have a couple of Pages which, when I edit them, it causes Limit Login to BLOCK my IP address temporarily (it has a lot of thumbnails loading). I have my IP address whitelisted. I do NOT have any desire for rate limiting. Why is this happening? I am the administrator, and I have the IP whitelisted, so it should ignore EVERYTHING this IP address is doing, not giving me a MiniOrange 403 error.
Please help fix this issue.
Thank you.
]]>Brute Force Protection ( Login Protection ) setting not working, it is blocking IP permanently, not for specified time.
]]>Hello,
When I set a custom URL (Login and Spam > Rename Login URL), and hit save, it updates the page but my default WP login page still opens. Either it is not working, or whitelisting an IP address overrides this feature. Please let me know what I’m doing wrong.
Thank you.
]]>I started this topic before but there was no resolution.
Whenever I update other plugins on my website, or whenever they update themselves automatically, this features is subsequently UNCHECKED in “Limit Login Attempts”:
> Login and Spam > Brute Froce Protection > Enable Brute force protection.
If have to go back and check it again, then hit save. Why is it doing this?
Thank you.
]]>Hi guys im doing a login form where the user can login using their email and password and i want to block after 3 failed attempts
Your plugins detects the failed login using email or only with username?
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
The Login Transactions Report page no longer records entries. The Error Report log is still working, showing all 404 errors. How do I troubleshoot this?
WP version 5.7, miniOrange v4.0.42.
Thank you.
]]>1. Can this plug-in block an IP address based on access to a specific URL?
2. Is it possible for Reports to record 403 errors? If it’s supposed to do this already, it is not. I only see 404 errors in the log.
3. Is it possible to configure reports to record access to specific URLs, folders, and/or file types (e.g. images)?
4. Where are the instructions or documentation for this plugin? I can’t find anything which explains how things like “Website firewall on plugin level” or “Website firewall on .htaccess level” works.
Thank you.
]]>Hi i was wondering if the user is blocked, there’s a change that the user can reset their password to unblock the account? thanks!
]]>Hello.
After I enable “Brute Force Protection” and come back to the settings panel at a later time, it is disabled again. I noticed this because after enabling this protection, I saw multiple failed login attempts still happening and not being blocked. I am using version 4.0.42 with WP version 5.7.2.
What am I doing wrong?
]]>have disabled miniorange limit login attempts plugin because it does not work with the latest version of wordpress. It redirects the login page it created to the homepage.
]]>Hi! What is the compatibility of the Limit Login Attempts plug-in with WP 5.2.2? In Updates it says unknown.
Thanks!
I cannot find the settings page. Per the directions, Go to Settings-> Limit Login Attempts. However, I do not see it there.
]]>Why is the changelog no longer being updated? The last info provided was for version 3.1.1
]]>It is a question about the number of login attempts.
After making a mistake more than a certain number of times, I confirmed that the number of login attempts will be reset if the administrator clicks “Unblock IP” and once logged in without fail even once.
However, if the user wrongly inputs the login information even once even after the administrator clicks “Unblock IP”, the login lock is applied regardless of the set number of trials. Is it possible to reset the number of login attempts after the administrator clicks “Unblock IP”?
Similarly, is it possible to reset the number of login attempts even after the specified lock time has passed?
Hi
We are using SI captcha on login page, should we also use this plugin?
