I have just downloaded Mingle Forum and added it to my WordPress site via ftp. While trying to set it up and test for bugs I noticed that the register button doesn’t display any sort of signup/registration form. I have created a signup page and added it to the login & logout section of the Mingle Forum options. This just displays a blank page with the title “Signup”. The login page however, does display the login fields. I have also checked “Anyone can register” under Settings > General. Please could someone advise me on how to rectify this.
]]>Not sure of my terminology here. but I was wondering if the threads (the responses to the topics) could be newest first.
In my world the topic is the same but whatever happened yesterday is not important so I want the topic to start with the most current Thread.
The topics are in newest order first but the when you go into the topic you have to scroll to the bottom to see the latest answer.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have set up a daily digest newsletter by cobbling together plugins “email to post” and “mailpoet”
I want to capture the email that mingle forum sends out notifying the admin that there is a new topic to go to the “email to post” email address but I can’t seem to find it in the php edit plugin.

I could set it up with say mail poet as an automatic newsletter but I need the code for the latest posts.

]]>WooCommerce version 2.1 introduced EndPoints for the account management. If you have a “my-account” page, and you want to edit the account, you enter “my-account/edit-account” and that shows the different content without adding an extra page (or so they say).
That works fine, but….
When Mingle is installed, it doesn’t. I get 404 errors each time. I’m not sure what, or how, Mingle is hooking in to the call, but it sure is. Disabling it and then regenerating the permalinks is the only way to get the account editing to work.
It is a big blocker for us as people can’t see and download orders with Mingle installed.

I understand there are security issues with this Plugin. However, after i ran an update to the latest WooCommerce and WordPress; this plugin destroys the [short code] functionality on many of pages.
It probably has to do with the new way pages are handled(end point) in WordPress 2.1.2
Anyway, just thought i would share for those using this plugin.

]]>I am trying to delete a topic for the first time and when I click delete, a message comes up asking if I am sure and when I click ok it sends me to my home page and doesn’t do anything to the topic. This does the same thing when I click to move a topic. I am logged in under everything administer so I cant see it being related to permissions. Any suggestions?

I am a beginner but did get mingleforum to work on an existing WordPress site.
Then tried it to install on a new site and when I search the plug ins it doesn’t appear. Seems to give a similar message to something that happened a year ago when I look at past posts here.
Anybody else had this problem? What should I do?

For some reason I have a thread where pages 1-17 of the thread are not displaying at all. Pages 18-21 are loading just fine.

I’m looking for a bit of help here. I’m building a forum that requires certain sections to be seen by all members, others only by the few that would have permission. I understand how to setup usergroups and add people to them, I’ve already done all the work I need to there.
I’m trying to understand how to attach certain user groups to an entire category or forum where it’s needed. Is this possible, and if so, how would I go about it?
