Is MA compatible with Elementor 3.10.2 and Elementor Pro 3.10.3?

Please, I beg you to implement a small improvement on your Display Conditions feature in a future version of your Elementor addon.
On my main web page, I want to show an introductory video with an Elementor widget, but only show it to new visitors who enter my page, visitors who return to it and already enter it for the second time should not see it.
For this reason, I ask you to implement in your addon one more condition that allows the video to be displayed only if it is a new visitor, but not if it is a returning visitor.
The idea is very simple, your component, when the visitor enters the page for the first time, will record a cookie in his browser to know if he has ever visited the page (I think it should be recorded at the page level, if it is possible, since this situation could occur on another page that is not the main one, so you have to know when the visitor views it for the first time and there could be several pages with this situation on a site).
Before saving the cookie, your component would check if the cookie already existed, in which case it should not display the Elementor widget. If the cookie does not exist, then it means that the visitor is entering the page for the first time and the your component should show the Elementor widget.
Of course, this would also allow it to be checked in reverse, that is, an Elementor widget is only shown if it is a returning visitor and not a new visitor.
I also think it could be interesting to allow the component to configure the duration that this cookie would have so that the user could determine when he wants it to expire, so that the visitor is considered as new again and then shows the Elementor widget again, since if the duration of the cookie lasts very little time, it would be a problem.
I think it’s not a very complicated change to implement, it’s just, mainly, about recording and reading a cookie, and it considerably improves the quality of the page by allowing to show/hide widgets or Elementor sections depending on whether it is a new visitor or a returning visitor.

Just using the free version of elementor and mighty addons. Just installed MA.
The cross site copy does not copy images.
Even if I copy the image elements individually and paste, it claims to have pasted the element but the element is empty. I guess I can copy by hand but would prefer of course the automatic paste.

]]>Hi, when I update the Mighty addons plugin from 1.4.8. all my accordion content disappears (resets to dummy content)
I’ve noticed this issue immediately after I updated it to 1.4.9. so I rolled back and decided to wait for a new update, but it seems to still be an issue with version 1.5.0

Currently, you can’t see the issue as I rolled back to the working version (1.4.8.) but I can quickly upgrade for a while if necessary.
I’m not even sure anymore if that element is directly from your plugin, or it’s just being enhanced for schema markup, but when I inspect the code, I can see the “mighty-accordion” class assigned.

Hi,
I just purchased the pro version on one of my domains, copied all – got the caption saying all sections copied.
Went to my other domain which hasn’t got a paid plan and clicked paste all and nothing happens at all.
Am I not getting the paste happening because of a bug or do I have to pay for both domains to have the pro version in order to benefit from this feature as I saw in the free version you also offer the cross-site copy and paste just without the additional style pasting.
Please help as I don’t know what to do.

I’ve come across another copy/paste related problem. It’s hard to debug it because I have no idea, why it’s happening (and believe me, I’ve tried to trace it quite hard).
On some pages I get these issues:
– pages cannot be copied via MA Copy All / Paste All
– none or partial content is pasted
– no JS or other errors, no console log messages, the MA message claims success (even though nothing is pasted)
– normal MA Copy Paste works separately for each section of the copied page; I was able to copy the whole page one section by one without issues
– the one-by-one-copied page CAN be copied as a whole afterward
– normally (classic Elementor Copy/Paste) copied or duplicated page preserves the issue
– the issue has no connection to the Elementor version, it’s present in all cases
I can send you an exported page on which I can reproduce this issue consistently (even after export/import to other site). This would be the easiest way, how to reproduce the issue for you.

I’ve found another bug in Cross Site Copy Paste module. When I try to paste the content on a site with older version of Elementor (2.9.14), it doesn’t work. It works only for version 3.x (even when source site is on 2.9).
The Error is: “Uncaught TypeError: elementorCommon.helpers.getUniqueId is not a function”. I suppose there were some changes for this helper plugin in 3.0.
Could you please look into it, I still have many sites on pre 3.0 version of Elementor due to the lots of the issues there. And just for the record, pasting on site with 2.9.14 was working on version 1.4.3.

Hi,
I’ve just discovered a minor problem: Cross Site Copy Paste throws an error under “very special circumstances”.
The error occurs by folowing these steps:
1. Activate MA on both source and target sites.
2. On source site create a page and insert an empty section.
3. Insert an image and heading widget into a column of the new section.
4. Insert the ampersand character (&) into the heading widget.
5. MA Copy the whole section.
6. Go to the target site.
7. Do MA Paste on the target site.
8. Nothing is pasted and notification “#2 Something went wrong!” appears (right after “Element Pasted!” notification).
Another observations:
– Error is not present when there’s no image in the column.
– Error is also present when the text widget contains html entities like ” ” (non breaking space).
– Error is not present when I use MA Copy / Paste All.
I think the last point is a strong hint what might be hapenning. Copy/Paste All has probably some extra testing or better special character sanitizing which simple Cross Site Copy/Paste doesn’t have.
Side note: in my case the source site was using Elementor 2.9.14 and the target was on 3.0.14.
Could you please look into this problem? It seems it’t just a simple overlook.

I encounter a problem: when I click right on a section, I have the regular options of MA but when I go to another site to paste what I copied, the paste option is not available. I tried on Brave and Firefox but it doesn’t work in any case. Is there something that I missed?

applies to Might Addons too. Couldn’t find the exact reason, but after deactivating Might Addons, Elementor loads well.
Every time when we load WP, your plugin does the forbidden action – calls for your site API and hangs loading of webpage before your api makes response:
On our site it even takes up to 2 seconds in most cases. Please correct that, there should be no call to API on page load or any area to hang up the site on every load.
