I loved the Views and Conditional shortcode in Toolset. MB Views is good but not as user friendly, missing the conditional shortocde. On the other hand the Settings page in MB is great
Overall very happy with my move – integration with Bricks Builder is great!

The functionality itself is great and I would give it top marks.
However, when used in conjunction with the paid plugin WP MAPS PRO (or WP Leaflet Maps Pro), it causes problems, and every time Metabox AIO is updated, it seems to cause problems with WP MAPS PRO, and I repeatedly contact the author of WP MAPS PRO to inquire about it. I have repeatedly contacted the author of WP MAPS PRO each time.
Specifically, the most critical problem is that when MetaBox is activated, the WP MAPS PRO plugin shortcode is not displayed and entire blocks of content are not displayed.
Another problem, which is not as big, is that the Advanced Selectbox used in the Relationships and other areas of the administration screen turns into a simple selectbox that only allows you to select some of the options, making it unusable. It also causes problems with WP MAPS PRO input.
These are not all problems all the time, but rather when there is an update in each of these plugins, one of these problems occurs and swings around. Perhaps some part of the problem is causing the conflict.
Is it a problem with WP MAPS PRO or MetaBox AIO? I don’t know, but I’m tired of being pushed around every time anyway, so I’m praying it gets resolved!

Meta Box checks every box when working with custom post types and custom fields. Plus adds tons of extras. Highly recommended. Support is also very responsive. I had a billing issue (my fault) and it was resolved fast and easy.

ACF does not have custom database tables. We did an extensive test with load on changing a term on a woocommerce product CPT with custom fields. With ACF it took 15 minutes and with metabox their custom database tables it was less than 20 seconds!!!! Highly recommend metabox. Their team is amazing, great support. Never going to leave this tool.

Great plugin, easy to use, been a fan for years.
Unfortunately, as of WP 6.4, this plugin breaks the ability to preview posts. I’d amend this review with a higher score once that’s fixed, but it’s a major problem.

Compared to the competition, the design and extensibility of this plugin is significantly better. Its performance is better and it doesn’t suffer from code bloat. Its learning curve is a bit steep, however that is what really sets it apart from the others. The support team is pretty responsive with tickets and the documentation is pretty good! I’ll be using the pro version of plugin going forward for custom setups.

I am a Bricks user and therefore I decided to use Metabox as an addition to it becasue it is officially supported. It is a great product and I love how it handles the entries in the Database compared to e.g. JetEngine. This plugin has preformance in mind and is fieldtested by many users, therefore you cannot go wrong pruchasing this product.
Also the LTD options are amazing because like in my case–> I am not a huge agency or something like that –> my 2 sites I made for “customer/friends” hardly pay for hosting/installed plugins etc. I am mostly in for this because I am entusiastic towards this product (and my future) –> it is a solid product and worthy the support.

I have been using Metabox AIO for 2+ years now and can’t live without it. It’s one of the first plugins I add to all my sites. And recently there was a compatibility issue between Metabox Views and the new page builder Breakdance. The devs at Metabox were able to resolve it and put out a new version in less than 48 hours! And the fix works perfect. With the amount of time MB saves me, it is more than worth twice what I pay for it every year.

I would never have used Meta Box when it was still fully geared to developers, but I love it now that a lot of things can be done without code. It is a very well thought out product. I love the versatile views, the option to have custom settings pages, it’s ability to have cloneable field groups without limitations (did not find any yet).
For filtered lists of posts I currently use FacetWP. I’d love a future version of Meta Box to have a codeless easy option to create simple listings with pagination within a view. Not to replace FacetWP, but to have more options for the simple requirements within Meta Box.

After coming back from 10 years not developing websites I start in 2020 again.
I did research what is changed in 10 years (a lot :)) and I found edit Custom Fields to WordPress beautiful. After playing with ACF I found Metabox. I love it, I couldn’t without it. My whole agency-websites are based on Metabox. The last month I use MB Views more and more, it is so incredible powerful. Bases on Twig I could do a lot.
The customer support is outstanding. I know I have a lot of questions but evertytime they are answered and they are listening.

Our team has been developing WordPress for over 10 years and while I think ACF is a great tool we have made the full switch to Meta Box. I love that custom post types are created within Meta Box and the ability to create views with TWIG templating is really powerful. There is still a lot more we need to unpack with this tool but we are now switching our clients over as Meta Box is one our core tools (along with Gantry – Great combo BTW) for WordPress. Bonus – the support is top notch.

I downloaded the free plugin, upgraded by following the link from my plugins library and purchasing pro edition. at no point did it offer the ability to create a password, yet in order to activate and use the pro functionality you need to login through the plugin and can’t because it requires a password. No problem just click link to reset password, link is sent, click on link, link takes me to my profile page but still does not offer ability to reset password. have tried for a week now to contact them to resolve the issue with no response. My entire team is at a stand still while waiting to get a password, really?? get it together metabox you are way too big of plugin to have such terrible service!

I’ve been a ltd user of Metabox for 2 months now and was able to use it in a larger project right away. I hardly had never a plugin like Metabox, that offers everything in his branch without having to buy external plugins and then works so flawlessly. The documentation is extended and the support is friendly and helps where its possible.
Metabox is more for experienced wordpress user, but if you take the time you can learn.
I would like a little more up-to-date tutorials and videos, otherwise I’m almost happy with Metabox.
