Since June I have a problem to edit my front page. Theme “Highlight”
I cant edit the page content section anymore and if I try to add new section, they will not be shown. Also I cant edit the content of the current section.
Furthermore, for one week, the real title, subtitle, buttons and the picture will not shown in the header. The parameters, text and the picture is set in the customizer.
Adding, I deactivate all plugins, expect the mesmerize Companion plugin. Still the problems.

Currently running child theme of Highlight Pro (our license has ended). I have actually contacted Theme Switcha plugin support regarding this issue and they stated to contact Mesmerize Companion plugin support instead. Here is link to the original message:

The problem occurs with customizer AJAX loader. Whenever I try to customize “LoginPress” from “Dashboard > LoginPress > Customizer”, “Mesmerize Companion” AJAX loader doesn’t load the page fully at all! I have to disable “Mesmerize Companion” then “LoginPress” customizer works without any issues! CAN YOU PLEASE CHECK AND FIX THIS ISSUE?

Wait a couple seconds, and then try again.’ That topic has been closed but was not resolved publicly, so I cannot see steps to take to overcome the issue.
Troubleshooting (deactivation of all plugins but the Mesmerize Companion) narrowed it down to the Companion plugin itself as the source of the problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin did not alleviate the issue. Both theme and Companion are running the latest versions.
The action when I click ‘Publish’ results in the following error:

]]>I had to turn off the store plug-in as it was confusing customers. So we’ll have to coordinate me turning it back on so you can see the issue. In summary, the four-column layout has become one long broken vertical. This started happening about two weeks ago. It looks like the Mesmerize theme was updated around the same time.
FastSpring took a look and said that </div> tags are being stripped out of the fastspring_init.php code when rendered onto the page. We turned off all plugins the problem remained. So, given the timing and that, the theme is now suspect.
Let me know a time period when I should add the FastSpring Catalog back onto the page so you can look at the code.
]]>Today I updated WordPress to Version 5.5 on one of my sites and found that the Customizer would never load, simply leaving me with the message “Please wait,
this might take a little while”. I also updated Mesmerize Companion to Version 1.6.112 and still run into the same infinite wait issue. Upon rolling back the site to the previous WordPress Version, everything worked as normal. I am assuming that something about WordPress 5.5 has broken the Customizer, and any sort of fix or remedy for this issue would be greatly appreciated.

]]>Please help. I created my webpage using the free Mesmerise template within WordPress, which I love and fits my business perfectly. A couple of days later, I purchased the Pro Mesmerize package in order to easily customize my pages.
However, when I upgrade to the pro version it automatically deletes my background image and changes the theme of my website.
I want to have the original (free) theme and the upgraded pro features. It may be important to note that it worked perfectly fine for weeks this way before I started adding additional page templates to my site. Now I only have the option of using the free theme without the upgraded features. Or use the upgraded feature but lose the background image, colors, and theme that I love so much.
I’m sure there is a fix. I’ve been struggling with the issues for weeks. Please, please help.
