Someone else may as well take this and renew it so everyone gets the benefits from it
]]>Hi there,
I installed this plugin last night on a theme test site. I’m trying to offer a dark and light option for users to choose whichever works best for them. However, though everything looks fine on the backend, on the frontend, no matter what theme is selected from the dropdown, the page never refreshes with the new theme.
Is there something else I need to do beyond the normal installation and configuration?
Thanks!
]]>Hi,
Thank your for your very useful extension.
Is it possible to access the different themes installed by using a url like :
https://www.sample.com/index.php?theme=classic
https://www.sample.com/index.php?theme=twentytwelve
Hey there! For the most part, this plugin is working great for me!
The only problem I’ve run into so far is that the sticky bar is at a very weird location on the mobile version of my site. For the PC version it really isn’t a problem.
However, on mobile, the sticky bar is about a third of the way down the screen. Since my website is for a web novel, this is potentially very disruptive to readers.
Is there a way for me to affix the bar to the top instead of having it traveling along with scrolling?

How can I keep the same widgets in all activated themes in the switcher?

]]>Hi,
Here’s my problem. I installed a problematic theme which is disabling your drop down box for selecting other themes. So, I can’t choose other theme and I was stuck to that theme.
I deleted the theme on my Dashboard but I am now stuck with a blank theme. Choosing another theme on the Dashboard will still revert to the deleted theme. Even if I uninstall and reinstall your plugin, the erratic theme still goes back as the default theme even if it’s already deleted and I can’t find a way to choose another theme as default. Can you fix this, please?

]]>Hi,
Your plugin works an the best feature for me: It’s possible to select the themes which appear for switching. Other plugins offer all installed themes, but I only need a standard theme and a child theme of twenty sixteen (2016 shouldn’t be visible).
But I’ve two issues:
Fist is similar as described before: When I switch theme, most of the widgets do not appear in the widget areas and these, who appear are in the standard configuration (in english, without title, categories instead of individual menue and so on). Every time after switching I must reload the page to correct it.
Second is not really a issue, but rather a wish for feature: Every time after switching I come to Home but not to the page, where started switch. Is it possible to “remember” the page from before switching and open it in the new theme?
Thank You very much
]]>Hi there
just started using your plugin(after looking around for ages, so many don’t work any more). And excellent news yours works, my only issue is that it display the options as a drop down, is it possible to edit mdc-theme-switcher.php so that it displays as a list? I have had a look through the code, but i’m afraid I dont fully understand how you are causing the themes to switch and without understanding this I’m not sure how to edit things.
If you could give me any help or point me in the right direction that would be really helpful. Cheers in advance and good work on the plugin.
Best
Harry
]]>Works well. Left a good review.
Request is this. I am using this on a site allowing two themes on a site. One is main theme, other is for handicapped access theme.
Only issue I have found in doing this is for some reason, some times it looses the sidebar. Weird. Have not been able to pin down why.
But, my feature request or “How would I do this” if you will is instead of it using the Select Box form to have a toggle type link. So user clicks link from sticky bar or shortcode and they are whisked off to that theme, then within the destination theme a link exists to go back to the other in the sticky bar.
Please advise.
]]>This is a great plugin….but a necessary improvement is to allow each user (visitor) to select their theme without affecting others users.
It appears that the theme choice of one visitor will affect other visitors. It would be much better if each visitor had their own ‘control’ over the theme selection.
]]>I’m trying to provide an accessibility mode for people with impaired sight. Ideally, I’d have a button or link that when pressed immediately loads a child theme stylesheet. I’d like to avoid a page refresh. Does this plugin refresh the page when it changes the theme?
