Previously the error at debug window is:- {“type”:”https://developer.mailchimp.com/documentation/mailchimp/guides/error-glossary/”,”title”:”API Key Invalid”,”status”:401,”detail”:”Your request did not include an API key.”,”instance”:”4c13da52-f036-4256-994d-6dfaa9f7d343″}
After that I changed the API key with user(owner) And after that the error at debug window:-
Now the message is -> WARNING: Registration Form > kl@de**.com is already subscribed to the selected list(s)
And in both the cases the error at front end is – Error: Please provide a valid email address.
]]>I received a warning about PHP updates needed for my website. I used the PHP Compatibility Checker after making sure I was using PHP 7.3 for my site.
One of the warnings that came back was for Mailchimp Activity. The message states
"37 | WARNING | Function name "__load_mailchimp_activity" is discouraged; PHP has reserved all method names with a double underscore prefix for future use."
Hello,
thank you for this light but useful plugin.
I would like to able, if possible with few lines somewhere, the MailChimp Activity box to be shown not only on administrators’dashboard but on the editor’s too.
Thank you for your help.
Hi,
There is an issue with the Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP)(which also uses charts) and with this plugin – when both are active one of the charts for one of the plugins fails with the error “You called the draw() method with the wrong type of data rather than a DataTable or DataView”.
Looking at other related failures it looks like you need to call the library for the function in a specific way to make sure it doesn’t conflict if two plugins are using the library on the same page. It isn’t clear if this plugin is doing that. I’ve cross-posted on the GADWP plugin page as well.
]]>We have installed this plugin and latest version of MailChimp for WordPress.
We can see data from Mailchimp in MailChimp for WordPress plugin.
But in this plugin Mailchimp Activity nothing appears in the graph. Its just empty and not showing anything… I can see I am viewing correct List and date settings. But just no data… why? Outdated plugin?
]]>Chrome stop the loading because it try to load a “non secure” form…
]]>Hi, we are getting this red error in the dashboard:
“You called the draw() method with the wrong type of data rather than a DataTable or DataView×
This happens when selecting the “size” option. It was working, then stopped.
Any suggestions on why this is?
Thank you!
]]>This appears to be an issue related to the recent MailChimp for WP 4.0.2 update which was due to MC API changes.
The display was working fine. Now, no matter what time period I set, Size just shows a week, with no changes (flat line), even though there has been changes in that time.
If I switch to Activity, it shows a slightly different week (Dates instead of days), but again only for a week.
I’m on current versions of all.
]]>Running MailChimp Activity 1.0.3
API key is set in MailChimp for WP > MailChimp.
I’m running version Version 3.1.4 of MailChimp for WordPress.
My server is running version PHP Version 5.4.24.
I can see the Mailchimp Activity widget on my dashboard and it’s not stuck at “loading..”, but the graph shows as a flat line most of the time for both size and activity. If I switch the size view to 180 days, I can see a spot where the data claims zero. You can see this in the image here: https://www.kristenkoster.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/MailchimpActivityWidget.png
However, I have not had stagnant growth on the list in question according to mailchimp: https://www.kristenkoster.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/mailchimpgrowth.png
The good news is that that the current subscriber number is 90.
I do use these plugins on another site I manage without issue. Any idea what could be wrong with this one?
]]>Installed and activated the plugin, and…..nothing. Site still working fine, but I see no Mailchimp activity. I am on shared hosting. I am also somewhat down with the flu/cold something nasty so not really with it and maybe have missed something.
Now comes the really dumb question….how do I tell which PHP version the server is running? (cPanel)
]]>Hi there,
I hope you are well. I tried to upload the WordPress plugin for Mailchimp just released, and it locked my out of my WordPress backoffice when I tried to activate it.
Can you help, please?
Cheers
Helen
My site had automatically updated WordPress to 4.9.1.2 yesterday evening – I tried installing the MailChimp Activity plugin (from a Zip) this morning. I was immediately dumped out of the page and was locked out of /wp-admin with a Server 500 Error – i.e. this plugin totally bricked the backend of my site.
I resolved the issue by reaching the plugins directory via FTP and manually deleting this to restore normal service.
