]]>Hi, guys. I am trying to customise the message for a specific product using the Pro version of your plugin. I have the ‘Validate on add to cart’ checked and ideally would like the following as my Custom Message:
[alg_wc_mppu_customer_msg bought_msg=”Thank you for supporting the 2024 SWABC 5K! You may register up to 10 persons using the Individual Registration option. Should you wish to register more than 10 persons, please use to the Team and school registration option or proceed to Checkout.” not_bought_msg=”Thank you for supporting the 2024 SWABC 5K! You may register up to 10 persons using the Individual Registration option. Should you wish to register more than 10 persons, please use to the Team and school registration option or proceed to Checkout. You can only buy maximum %limit% of %product_title%.”]
However, I only get messages in the format ‘You can only buy maximum %limit% of %product_title%.’ when i test my product. I also went into the plugin editor and modified line 109 in class-alg-wc-mppu-settings-frontend.php but that didn’t work either.
How do I manage to accomplish this update? Thanks in advance.
I want to show “%remaining%”, “%bought%” and “%limit%” on frontent, is there any way to show these things on frontend.
Regards

I only want to limit the availability for specific products. When I turn this on for one product it turns it on for everything. So it is useless for me.
]]>I am trying out the free version, but it doesn’t behave predictably. I only want to limit purchases for specific products, and I have only enabled the limit for these. But the plugin clearly applies it to all products. When I inactivate the plugin all the restrictions are removed for all products.
]]>Hi, I submitted a ticket on April 10th and followed up again on April 12th, but I haven’t received any response yet. I bought the pro version and urgently need assistance with the issue of ‘Validate on add to cart’ not functioning properly. The ticket reference number is #29197.
I’ve set up the ‘Per product’ function in the ‘Limit’ menu and configured the ‘Limit per user’ to ‘1’ for a variation product. Additionally, I’ve enabled the ‘Validate on add to cart’ feature in the ‘Frontend’ menu.
However, it seems that the system isn’t quite behaving as expected. Despite these settings, users are able to add more than one of this variation product to their shopping cart without any validation occurring on the single product page. Instead, they receive a notice only upon reaching the shopping cart page, indicating that they can only purchase a maximum of 1 of this variation product.
Ideally, I’d like the system to validate this limitation directly on the single product page itself. In other words, users should be prevented from adding more than one of this variation product, and if they attempt to do so, they should receive a notice informing them of the product limitation.
]]>Subject: Question on how to limit a category by weight in Maximum Products Per User for WooCommerce.
Dear support team, I hope this message finds you well. I want to know if using your Max Products per User plugin for WooCommerce in my WooCommerce store I could implement a feature, which limits a specific category by weight in the cart. I think it is possible but I haven’t seen how I could do it, and I’m afraid of buying the pro version and then not being able to do it. In particular, I’m looking for a way to restrict the total amount of weight that can be added to the cart for products that belong to the category with the ID [Category X].
For example, I would like to set a limit of 3 kg for the priority shipping product category. I have reviewed the plugin documentation and found a specific function to achieve this but with the free version I have not been able to do it. Could you please provide me with guidance on how I can achieve this goal using your plugin? Is payment necessary? I very much appreciate your help and guidance in this regard.
Sincerely, Adrian.
]]>Hi there,
I’m wanting to limit one specific user to their purchasing ability for two products within a 3 month period. So I have the following formulas:
[alg_wc_mppu limit=”20″ user_id=”82″ product_id=”186″]
[alg_wc_mppu limit=”10″ user_id=”82″ product_id=”408″]
And I have mode set to “product quantities” and date range set to 12 weeks. Is this correct? Is there anything else I need to do? Thanks, Jonah
]]>Hi,
Is it possible to set different limitation on product for each user?
For example :
Product limits not resetting
Users sign up to a subscription. Bronze, Silver, Gold.
They pay a monthly subscription (Woocommerce Subscriptions)
They can take 4 fitness classes per month on Bronze. 8 Silver. 12 Gold.
Subscription payment via stripe each month and then it is supposed to reset Maximum Products per User upon the next payment but it doesn’t seem to.
Please can you explain where I change this and or explain a set up that will work and reset each user limit back to 0 after monthly payment?

Hey, I need a function to run in my theme functions.php to know if limit has been reached or not?
This is because I have replaced the add to cart form with a download form which I added through my theme. This download button allows members to download file and create order straight away without having to add it to the cart.
So i need your function to check if limit is 0.
If ($limit == 0){
not showing the download button
}
The latest update broke my setup. Now all products are showing at the table, and another column appear. Also the count is incorrect.
I′m waiting for a week for your response and I need to solution it before friday. Can you help me?
I want to limit the purchase of only one particular product on my site. Thank you!

Hi there,
Would the limit by formula work based on VAT ID? I mean, if a person tries to purshace with a VAT ID that was already used by another account (weird I know, but it does happen) can we prevent that product from being purshached?
As per mentioned in title, thanks

I have deactivated other plugins so it’s just core WooCommerce, and checkout works as expected. However, once I turn Maximum Products back on and go through a checkout, the cart is not being emptied. Grateful for any help. Thanks!
]]>Hello,
I would like to limit the number of ordered products per month for each user. To be more precise, I would like to allow to sell a maximum of 4 products from my shop, per user, and per month. Beyond, he should wait a month to be allowed to buy again, any product.
Moreover, each product should be sell only one time per user, lifetime. I thinh I coud do that with the free version. I also manage to do that using a snippet. So what I need to implement now, is the rule above…
I check if my question already be submitted. I found similar requests but I am not sure. Could you confirme I could do all these requests using your plugin ?

]]>we are using the WooCoommerce Maximum Order Per User plugin and have set a limit of $50 so that any user with less than that amount on their cart will need to add more products to the cart so that the purchase can be completed. This is to ensure that the deliveries are worth the time for the company.
However, we also are using the WooCommerce shipping and Delivery plugin to create different zones and provide users the option to set a time when they would like to have their order delivered from those Zones. All the zones have a minimum delivery fee of different delivery fees associated with each order.
Using this Maximum Order Per User, we would like to have a functionality where by the limit is based on the user’s zone and only applies when user has selected Local delivery. So when user selects pick up from store this functionality should be inactive. Is this possible and how?
]]>Hi,
I have a product that I sell, for example, for $5 and I am not making any money on it. I would like to limit how many products like that can a customer purchase for $5 (for example, only 2 products for $5) and after purchasing the limit (in this case 2) the price to go up. For example, I put the limit on purchasing only 2 products for $5 each, and if a customer adds more the next one will be $10.
Is this possible with your plugin and if so can you please point me to a documentation to see how to do it?
Thanks,
Tina
]]>Hello Pablo,
I hope you are well!
your plugin has been running on our website for almost 4 months now.
so far everything is going well…
two things are only very unpleasant.
Question: is there any way to delete the past data or speed up the performance of the query?
since we use memberpress there was no way to connect the memberpress abomodel to the plugin exactly. we work with tags. unfortunately, we only had 2 options with your plugin when a customer signs up for an subscription model with memberpress.
a) last 30 days or
b) this month
the customer can make his 10 downloads in these two time windows…
with a) it’s very dynamic and the customer doesn’t understand it… and with b) it’s not suitable for everyday use, because some people can also sign up in the middle of the month.
It would have been better if the customer received his download limits for exactly one month on the day of signing… and not the last 30 days or month by month from the 1st to the 31st.
But I assume that you can’t do that now either, can you?
i would be pleased if you could give me an answer to this question.
Many greetings
christian

]]>Hello, I love the plugin, but I would like to know if there is a way that I can use its functions in my products that have a custom option with WooCommerce Custom Product Addons. (https://acowebs.com/woo-custom-product-addons/)
I want to limit daily the orders that can be made with the options chosen by the customer when buying a product in my store:
1. Product options are selected on the product page and each option has a different price or can be set by the customer before being added to the shopping cart.
2. A daily limit must be established on the total money that can be sold with that product and those options. (If it can be set with code, no problem.)
For example:
1. The product has an option to choose a Ticket number from 3 different numbers, this has a value of $15 and a maximum of daily sales in orders of $500.
2. On the store page, select the product that has a base price of $5, fill in the Ticket number field ( 2 4 8) and leave its default value: $15.
3. The Cart price is automatically updated to $15. (This is allowed by the options and functionalities of the WooCommerce Custom Product Addons plugin)
4. I cannot add the product to the cart if I have already sold a maximum total of $500 in total daily orders for that Ticket number.
5. The customer must select another option to continue buying the product, that is, another Ticket number. (Multiple products with their respective Ticket numbers can be added to the Cart, as long as you have not reached your daily sales limit for a specific numerical figure).
6. Block one or several daily numerical figures that could be chosen as an option in the product before adding it to the shopping cart.
So this is what I am looking for, I know that the Plugin works with the maximum amount of products per user, I would love to know if it is possible to achieve it based on the maximum daily amount of orders that contain that product and its options to limit its sale or any formula that allows me to do it.
Thanks a lot
