I know albums are in the works but is there any word on when they’ll be available yet?
I’ve just set up 62 galleries and if it’s a matter of a few days or even a couple of weeks then I’ll forgo setting up pages with thumbnails to the galleries and just wait for the update that has albums included.

]]>Is there a way to view the title of my images when viewing individual images, either in the lite or pro versions? Ideally I’d like to have thumbnails of each image, then viewers click it and can view the photo in a manner that has the title and caption, in a manner that individual photos can be bookmarked/linked to.
Failing that, is there a quick way to copy titles over to the captions, adding them to the top (a few of my photos have captions already and I would like to add the titles to the top of the existing caption.
I have over 1,800 images and really don’t want to have to do it by hand.

I’m am trying the envira gallery at the moment, but I am not quite satisfied because of some misisng functionality and the high price tag.
Now I am considering MaxGalleria.
I have 2 questions which I couldn’t figure out how to do:
a) Is it possible to display the image slider as “full screen” (not browser full-screen functionality)?
I mean by “full screen” using the “full size” / 100% width + auto/cropped height for the image slider.
What I want is to have a gallery thumbnail and then clicking on that thumbnail that a full size image slider opens.
b) Can I attach one image to multiple galleries? Or can I archieve something similiar using filters/tags and creating galleries “on the fly” using filters/tags?
For example I have an image with a lion. This lion should appear in the category “animals” and the category “africa”.
Of course it is fine if this functionality is only available in the PRO version, I will buy the license.
c) One thing: There seems to be a bug with the image slider on your web page? https://d7z.de/t/i_maxgalleria-bug.jpg
Maybe it’s because I have a 1 sec delay on my internet conneciton, but there seems to be an event missing that should resize the image slider when the image is loaded or something ??

In the existing topic I talked about an other issue and today I found an issue with an other mod too. The list in the dashboard disappears also in WP Booklet plugin when MAxGallery Light is enabled. When disabling Max Gallery light I see the list in the dashboard.

]]>I’ve got a number of sites that need to be moved from NextGen to something that allows html in the captions, and hoped that this would work, but I have a few issues with it.
First, I can only create galleries by Importing them from NextGen. I can’t make a new gallery. The screen goes gray and sits there forever until I click the screen again. The same thing happens in I try to edit an individual image.
Also, my images have a scroll bar beneath them that is unattractive, and if I say I want 2 colums, I get one, and if I want 3 columns, I get 2. I don’t want to buy the full version unless I know that I can get it to work, as so far, it’s not letting me update or add galleries.

It is possible to duplicate Galleries? Because I want to use the same Gallery on 2 different page’s. One with sidebars (4 Gallery columns and target=”_blank”), the other without sidebars (5 or 6 Gallery columns and target=”_self”).
It would be nice to use the same Gallery with different Gallery setting in two places.

I am using the Genesis framework and updated from Genesis version 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 before moving the website live. After this the galleries stopped displaying. The page looked like an empty post. If I created a page and inserted the shortcode the gallery displayed as it should.
I had downloaded a copy of the website before moving it live and by accident noticed a copy of single-maxgallery.php in the Genesis theme folder. It wasn’t on the live site. I uploaded this back to the website and everything works again.
I moved single-maxgallery.php to the child theme folder which is less likely to be updated and hence deleted. The galleries work with the file here.
I assume upgrading the framework deleted single-maxgallery.php. Did installing the MaxGalleria plugin put the php file in the Genesis folder? If so is this clearly documented somewhere that I may have missed. I hate think how many hours I would have spent looking for a solution if I hadn’t accidentally noticed the file in my backup.
]]>Hi, I love the simplicity of the gallery just one tiny problem I would like 4 columns per row (I’m using the lite version) and it looks like my thumbnails are too big, which is the ‘perfect size’ for thumbnail to sit 4 in one row? and how to center them, on my site they are aligned on the right right, please note I don’t know to create code for centering pics ?? I just want to center them.

I even tried using google.com as a link since its a local install I thought maybe it didn’t like that. The whole point of my gallery is link to individual pages and posts, please help.

I have to click multiple times on the right or left arrow to go to the next picture. I guess it has to do with the Gamepress theme I am currently using, but I haven’t figured it out, yet.

]]>MaxGalleria lite worked as intended with images opening in lightboxes until I installed the AddThis Smart Layers plugin. (Using Engrave Lite theme, and here is the link: https://riocarwash.com/fredericksburg-stafford/ ) I know deactivating/uninstalling Smart Layers will fix the issue, but I would really like to use both if possible … any ideas on a possible ‘fix’?

]]>I have a simple 3-column gallery with 4 images. I have a long caption, with links, and when the gallery code is plugged into my primary WP page, the caption displays both below AND ABOVE the image. It behaves the same regardless of which of the 4 images gets the caption (or all of them).

I am having trouble using the Lightbox feature. When I click an image to view in Lightbox, it opens and displays underneath the header. I have used other versions of Lightbox and had no issues but for some reason it will not work with MaxGalleria Lite.

I am trying the MGL to migrate my galleries from NG and it is working fine. I have a couple of questions before fully committing to the migration:
1. Is there a way to establish default settings rather than changing the settings for each gallery? That will save me a lot of time, especially in the migration. Is this a feature on the premium version?
2. Is it possible to migrate more than one gallery at a time? I have over 250 galleries to migrate.
3. Sorting the gallery images is handled quite nicely, but when sorting galleries with a large number of images this method actually becomes a hindrance requiring extensive scrolling up and down. Will you sometime consider a sorting screen which can be called as an option to display just the thumbnails, a la NGG?
4. Since the migrated images are pulled into monthly uploads folder after a migration that folder will end up with too large a number of images. Is it possible to pull them into the months when the NGG gallery was created? This will distribute the clutter into many months.
This is very promising for my site and for my clients’ sites. I am very glad that you made a “lite” version available. After the migration switching to the premium should be a snap. I hope!

The list of posts in the dashboard disappears when MaxGalleria Lite is enabled, and reappears again when it is disabled. The posts don’t disappear, just the list in the back end.
This is using a Suffusion theme; I haven’t checked others.
