I am using maven member plugin to have different privileges for different users. so it is handling my registration part as well. The problem is that it is not properly redirecting to mentioned page when a registered user is not yet activated. Please help on this regard

I installed the plugin and it seems to work, but I can’t find a way to add my normal wordpress user, the one I use to manage the whole website, to the Maven list of users. This means that everytime that I need to access the restricted area I have to log out and log in again with a user created for the plugin.
I checked in my profile, inside the wordpress admin panel, and while it lists some fields to add info, there is no way to add a Maven role.
Any help?

]]>Hi… I should start by stating that my business rules are somewhat flexible, so if there is a basic change that someone might see simplifying this situation below, I would be open to considering it.
I need to control access to certain parts of my website that contain premium support content, software patches and updates.
I have a list of Account# and Account Owners, along with “Expiration Dates” in my CRM. We currently export/import on a regular basis to an ASP application that authorizes the Account# based on its Expiration Date.
Users can then be added by the Account Owner, who simply enters their Email and Name. That new user then uses the Account# as a password/validation.
So we may have multiple users accessing our content using a customers Account# as a (sort-of) password.
When the Expiration Date lapses, the Account# gets suspended and no one can access the content. When the Expiration Date is updated (as part of the regular Import), access is restored.
I won’t defend the existing process beyond saying that it’s easy for our users to self-serve (the Account Owner can control who in their company has access), and is easy for us to control access for multiple users at a time.
Now my question- We want to move away from the ASP pages/process, and I would like to approximate this workflow using WordPress. Is Maven a reasonable solution for this?
First, is it possible to import an Expiration Date and have Maven block access when that date passes, and then have it grant access when the date is updated?

I have the email sending the username. How do I include the password and link?

]]>I’ve installed the Maven Member plugin and tried assigning users some access, as well as assigning to pages. Now whenever any user tries to loging (doesn’t matter the user), then we get the error “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”.
I’ve tried going through cpanel and creating a new user in the PHPmyAdmin, same error. I’ve tried removing the plugin through FTP, but still get’s the same error.
We can’t get in to modify the site.

Two days ago I discovered that the users during the registration process were encountering an error with registration of captcha. I believe maven member is a great plugin. Only something isn’t working like I would.
When trying to access more posts which are under a restricted category, I would like to show a self defined no-access page (like it works when trying to view a restricted page).
With restricted categories, I only get it done to see “No access” for each individual restricted post, but I would like to see (my self defined) no-access page immediately after trying to access a restricted category.
I hope I’m clear, and would appreciate very much if somebody can help me.

]]>When I look at the maven user list, the “user” is not the username that was entered during registration. When I look at the regular WordPress users list, the username is the correct one. It would be nice if this username is listed in the Maven list also.

This is such a good plugin, I just need a basic content restriction so people can register. However, once someone is logged in, although it shows them the restricted content it doesnt actually REMOVE the box for login! So it ends up being halfway through my post.
Also, once logged in, the user doesnt actually see they are logged in.

When users register using Maven Member using a username starting with a number ( Example 2testuser ), Maven Member does not display under the “Users” section “2testuser”, it only shows “testuser”.
This is what it currently shows below in Maven. I suggest that under the USER section, the listing should show the actual USERNAME (2testuser), instead of the first name and last name (testuser).

I know that you can go into WP USERS section and manually change this, but it would be nice by default to have the User equal the Login Name (2testuser) that was entered, in the USERS section in Maven.
One other thing that would be nice, when the user puts in their password, they should have to enter in the password twice when registering, to make sure they entered it in correctly.
I want to thank you for the great work you have done on this plugin. It works really well, addressing the need to have registered and unregistered sections in WordPress I am just offering some suggestions to make it your plugin even better in your next release.

Just few thoughts about using woocommerce and maven member together.
My website has a shop area that is being handled by woocommerce and another area for staff which is being handled by Maven Member. When I enable Maven Member, once the user is registered via woocommerce, instead of redirecting back to myaccount after logging in automatically, the user is being redirected to wp-login. If I disable Maven Member it redirects properly.
Secondly, Even though I’ve selected default new registration to be enabled, If a user registers via woocommerce, the user is not enable in Maven Member and I have to enable them myself. This wouldn’t be so much of a problem but when a user registers via woocommerce and is not enabled in Maven Member but logs into woocommerce, the user can gain access to any maven member protected page until I enable them via Maven Member. Then they don’t get access to the page. I solved this by having all users register via Maven member and disable the woocommerce registration process completely.
— But now I want users that are registered via Maven Member to automatically login and be redirected to myaccount in woocommerce. I can redirect them to myaccount but they are not automatically logged in. How would I go about getting them to automatically login once they’re registered?

I installed this a few weeks ago and it was working fine for all my testing when it was first installed. But now I went to do a final test, and suddenly nothing is working anymore! I cant add users – when I enter the details and click ‘save’, nothing happens. I tried registering from the website, and the registration comes through, but when I click “Enable”, it doesnt work, and when I click the “Active” box, it doesnt tick.
Also, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, this didnt fix it.
I cant even delete or add new roles either.
I have tried this in multiple browsers – chrome, firefox, and safari.
Am using:
– WordPress 3.5.1 (but it wasnt working before i upgraded, either)
– MM version 1.0.35.
Can anyone help, ASAP, this is urgent as the site is now live and broken!

1)The PW protected page to accept multiple passwords and
2)Each PW would have with their own expiration date(preferably programmable but can delete the PW manually if necessary).
Can be multiple subscribers with access to the same PW protected page and/or we can just give out the passwords to those that we want to have access to the page. No real need for user registration but that would be a plus I suppose.

I successfully moved my site from the /wordpress directory to the root of the URL. Maven Member no longer recognizes that I am logged in as the admin, and gives a 404 error when I’m trying to log in.
It doesn’t appear to be recognizing the new URL. Everything else worked perfectly, however (posts, file attachments, images, etc.), so the move was done properly.
How do I fix this?
