It won’t apply a price mark up to my color attribute and I’m not sure why.

Variable properties are not automatically priced

If you have more than a few variations, this plugin will greatly simplify your life!

Hi, I created some attributes in admin panel, it looks fine, but in front view when I change attributes, product price is not going to change, why?

Really not happy that this plugin hasn’t been updated in 9 months and is not compatible with relatively recent latest versions of WooCommerce, PHP, or WordPress.
Had high hopes as I needed over 100 variations – it built the variations with no problem, but after working to set the pricing, all work disappears at some random point in time – all the variations, everything. Happened multiple times – hours of work wasted.
Plugin Author – please consider fixing this.
Thank you.

I add this plugin to every cart I set up. It does exactly what it says it will.

This saved many hours of work in a WooCommerce project which had thousands of product variants, now able to add prices at a root level rather than editing every variant instance.

Hey, this was sorely needed for Woocommerce apparel shops. Too bad I just found it today. Works perfectly, saves a lot of headache. Hope you keep it updated.

This plugin works very well and when I ran into a minor issue, the author responded very quickly and fixed it in record breaking time. Thanks so much!

This is a perfect plugin to have multiple variations with individual rates. Worked perfectly for my site. More than anything – it is simple once you get a hang of it. Thanks bud.

I have only used your plugin for about 5 minutes but you have already saved me hours of work.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to get this done and I just kept giving up.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I’ve set this up and it seems great.
There are even some detailed settings for this in woocommerce settings, however it’s not clear what all of them do do.
Some comments on the settings:
– if you add markup $5 the price change will be displayed with decimals (such as $5.00) and there is no way to just display $5, even if all other prices on woocommerce are displayed like that. I suggest this filter to be taken into account:
add_filter( 'woocommerce_price_trim_zeros', '__return_true' );
– the setting “Add pricing information to the end of the existing description” adds information in English, so is there any way to add your own language?
– if you select “Do NOT add pricing information to the description field” there is still an animation to show the variation description even if the variation description is empty (maybe this is not a problem with this plugin?)
– I don’t understand what the setting “Hide Base Price” or “Round Markup” do

I would like to leave my 5 star review for this fantastic solution and congratulate the developer for having such a kind heart to share something free and so powerful. I will definitely donate because it helped me a LOT! Congratulations, keep it up, the sky is the limit.

Great tool, has helped save some time and reduced the complexity of some projects.
Hope the developer continues to expand functionality to allow the importing of markup to existing terms by attribute name/slug and or value.
Thanks again for making a great plugin.

It’s very useful if you have a ton of variatios. Thanks!

I’m glad I was looking for a solution on StackOverflow & found this plugin. Kudos to the developer! This MUST be added as a basic function in Woocommerce. Thanks @marktomlinson for the free plugin.

This one was needed URGENTLY, to extend/enhance woocommerce Shopfunctions.
I worked with many shopsystems, and one thing they all (the propper ones) have and you definetly need is the option, to give price infos to certain attributes (I absolutly cant believe, that this is not standard in woocommrce!)
This one is a MUST-HAVE!
To the developer: Let me buy you a beer (or Tea, coffee or whatever…)
Please keep this tool maintained in the future.
Thanks – top job!

Give this man a cookie! Works great and easy ??

Works with latest versions of: wp 5.03 and woo 3.5.4
Saves loads of time not having to enter each variation price seperately.
Could do author might be thinking of:
– Product price description displays sale price rather than regular price for items on sale.
– Display variations as radio buttons rather than as dropdown.
With above features added, I would not mind paying for such plugin! There is no plugin or solution out there like this plugin. Worth developing it further with a pro version.

This is super handy and works perfectly. Pretty surprised this isn’t a core WooCommerce feature, but the more I build with WooCommerce, the more I realize that almost nothing is a core feature.

You must be a genius. This plugin can save a ton of data entry.
My shop is under development right now, but if we keep this plugin I’ll send you a donation. The attribute pricing ends up a little different than the we use today (not using woocommerce) but this will save us a ton of work in WooCommerce.
One option you might consider down the road: a finished price adjustment, like round off to the nearest .00 (or .95, or .99)
Use case: All of our prices end in .00. Our attribute pricing is percent based, so the cents end up being just about anything.
Example: $19.00 item + 22% attribute = 23.18 total.
I want to round off to the nearest dollar.
End result: $19.00 item + 22% attribute = round(23.18) = $23.00 total.

This plugin is just what we needed! Works great if you have many variations and if the final price is calculated from the base price. We use it for calculating the price for product variations with a lot of different sizes. If you select a larger size, the price increases.

Markup by attributes makes working with variable products as easy as cooking a pie. Especially useful if you are selling digital products such as license with different volume and period where a final price is calculated from the base price. The plugin is in early stage and doesn’t have a lot of options but its developer is very responsive and provides great support. I’d recommend trying this plugin out to everyone who is dealing with a high amount of product variations – changing prices won’t be such a hassle anymore!
