I updated to the new WP 5.1 recently that features the Gutenberg editor. The Markdown editor does not show up anymore on new posts now and I don’t really have an idea how to bring it back. Any thoughts?

When you write an article and describe it, somehow it becomes the following notation.

box-sizing: border-box

The same result can be enclosed with `instead of ⟨code⟩｀｀｀.
When I stopped MarkDown Editor, the symptoms were fixed.
Is this a bug?

Can I use plugin on a multisite blog? Does it get along with Gutenberg editor?

This is a report on some issues I’ve had using the plugin. Version 4.9.8

• When editing, the left sidebar popup menus fail to work e.g. Settings does not popup when mouse hovers over it, it appears briefly when Settings link is clicked, then the page navigates to settings
• Category links “+ Add New Category” and “Most used” do not work
• Unordered bullet points do not show in side by side preview panel
• Unordered bullet points after ordered bullet points, continue the ordered bullet points

This editor does not enable for custom post types. Is it possible to enable it for custom post types?

I am trying to add _blank attribute to links. Not sure about the syntax, [link](url){:target=”_blank”} seems not to work. Is it possible to do it?

Is it possible to disable this for posts but enable for pages?

For some reason, after pasting this dummy markdown content into a page, and then updating the page, all of the markdown is converted to html. Help?

While I really like this as a replacement for the text editor tab, it would be useful to still be able to switch quickly back to the standard visual for some tasks such as editing images that are already embedded in the page. The preview panel doesn’t always align with the img code, making it hard to use for editing/adding captions etc.
