Hi, by activating the plugin I see that in the most recent post, under the featured image, the title of the post is shown, as if it were a duplicate. This happens with any plugin option (Text, Text Legacy, Circle etc.). If I select “Use JavaScript for showing markers” the “New” no longer appears either. Attached is the example image. Can it be solved?

While testing buddypress 12.0.0 beta 2 and the buddypress follow plugin at github, your plugin seemed to cause conflict with the follow plugin.

Mark new posts mess up my search query.
I’m currently using Search & Filter Pro to display search results on the search.php page and searching with any terms or text has some kind of conflict with MNP. Basically, the search results are not what it supposed to be if MNP is activated.

It seems that MNP is altering some of the query filters somehow, or adding an extra filter value or something.

Could you please have a look?

The marker works perfectly in safari. But in chrome it does not appear on the frontpage, only on the post itself.
How do I make the marker appear on my post overview in chrome as well?

I want to use this plugin on a template (template-frontpage.php).
But the plugin doesn’t work on the template. When i disable the template and use index.php the plugin work but that is not the way i want to use it.

Also is it posable to use the plugin on CPTs if yes. How?

I am using the Mark New Posts plugin, and it appears to have a conflict with another plugin that I’m using, which is the WPForms plugin. When I activate the Mark New Posts plugin, I get a notice in the settings of the WP Forms plugin that says

Notice: is_404 was called incorrectly. Conditional query tags do not work before the query is run. Before then, they always return false.

This notice disappears when I deactivate the Mark New Forms plugin.

the function “Mark all existing posts as new to new visitors” has no effect to me.
Still all existing posts are marked as read and the function “mnp_new_posts_count” says “0”.

I just installed your plugin and tested the counter “mnp_new_posts_count” on new posts.
It just worked well until i’ve deleted the new test post.
The counter still says 1 unread post.

Is there any way to fix this?

When I activate this plugin, Relevanssi plugin stops working, it does not do internal research anymore.

It’s strange, I did the Italian translation with Loco Translate. The directory is: wp_content/language/plugins. The translation appears but the plugin does not save the settings of the options. If instead I use the default English translation, the plugin saves the settings.

how can I add the plugin “mark as read” verification on login in a db instead of cookie?
The plugin searches in cookies and this creates problems in my case (the site is on a local network).
Users have access to wp so would not be a problem.
can add the rule that creates a different cookie for each user?

You plugin is very interesting as it’s one of the only one i have found to show notification for new post directly on the site itself and not use an email. Is it possible in anyway to select the post type to show notification on ? I have some custom post type that I do not want to show a new notification beside.
