I’m getting this warning on the page that is displaying my map Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /code/wp-content/plugins/mapster-wp-maps/public/class-mapster-wordpress-maps-public.php on line 189
I’m guessing it’s because a field or setting is not set in the plugin. I looked at the source code and it appears have something to do with these lines:
// Check for required dependencies
$directions_enabled = ( get_field( ‘directions_control’, $atts[‘id’] ) ? get_field( ‘directions_control’, $atts[‘id’] )[‘enable’] : false );
$store_locator_enabled = ( get_field( ‘list’, $atts[‘id’] ) ? get_field( ‘list’, $atts[‘id’] )[‘store_locator_options’][‘enable’] : false );
$geocoder_enabled = false;
What do I need to set to get that warning to go away?
]]>Hi Mapster
I created a new wordpress install as a subdirectory, as soon as had set up database and user access (nothing else installed and ‘vanilla’ out of the box) installed and tried to activate the free version of Mapster. The WP installed had a critical error and went into recovery mode. Removed the plugin and downloaded as a zip, same issue.
Thought it may be a subdirectory issue, so installed on a main domain instance of WP and same white screen issue.
Using PHP 6.2.22 but also tested on 7 and same issue.

]]>I’m talking about the automatic moving to a location if I click on it in the location list – the zooming and moving over the map.
Can you please take look at this page and tell me why the map (or any of the maps on any of the pages where I have used your plugin) have stoped working? In the past this has been a problem between your plugin, the Forminator plugin, and SiteGround’s Speed Optimizer plugin. I have fixed the problem by going SiteGround’s Speed Optimizer plugin and disabling some of the CSS and Javascript Optimization… and this has gotten Mapster working again, but non of this seems to be working this time. I have turned everything back on… can you please take a look. Thanks
]]>How best to create a Feature of the border of a country – like, Spain.
Do I just hand draw a polygon by zooming in on Spain?
I hope there Is a more precise way.
Same idea for the Pyrenees mountains? Just zoom in and hand draw line segments together?
I’ve tried and it just doesn’t seem very accurate.
I’m still a beginner and maybe I don’t understand some of the Feature creation options.
Thanks,

If the page template is “no sidebar” can the Mapster WP hover feature still open in the side bar if it is configured that way? IOW, does the Mapster WP Sidebar Hover require the page template to have a sidebar or will Mapster WP plugin make it’s own sidebar regardless of page template?
]]>Hello and Thank you for this excellent, feature-rich mapping plugin. A tremendous undertaking ???? .
Please help me with the following: I make edits to locations such as changing the marker, or label color and it saves on the back-end but the map on the front-end doesn’t update. If I delete a location, it still shows on the front even though I purge all cache.
Same thing with laying out the map – I put the location, zoom, long/latt in the fields when I get the map displayed how I want it, and it typically updates on the backend. But when viewing the map from the front-end it displays an old layout of the map. It doesn’t update to the details just changed. On 2 different maps it looks two different ways, 2 different pop-ups even though one configuration has been deleted.
I’ve purged all caches after each edit. I’m sure I’m missing some details but just can’t get the configuration right. The site is still in proof of concept so nothing is public. I’ve emailed you a login to [email protected].
Can you please get me through these setup details?
Thank you,
Shell
Quick question. Wondering if this would be possible in your Free or Pro version?
I would like to create a custom list that sits outside the map. It would look like the below. I was looking at your custom script section to see if I could create an on click function for each location/popup then I could code a list with my own HTML. However, I didn’t see anything.
Places To Eat (Linked to Show Parent Group Category)
-Place 1 (Linked To Popup)
-Place 2 (Linked To Popup)
-etc.
Places To Drink
-Place 1
-Place 2
-Etc.
ETC.
I created the map on this by adding the markers using categories and it worked fine. All the markers were displayed on the map. This week I opened the page and all the markers have disappeared and I can’t figure our why they suddenly stopped showing on the map.

]]>Hello,
The map is centered on the locations entered in the polygons field in the admin (preview), but using the shortcode provided, the map displayed doesn’t take into account what I’ve entered in the admin.
I’ve tried “fit to features” and “manual center and zoom” but they don’t work, I note that in the preview the map is well centered as I want it.
How to fix ? thank you.
This is probably an absurd question, but is there a possibility to apply the ACF functionality of the maps plugin in a CPT? I’m very new to the web world and I’m trying to get some MAPSTER configuration boxes in a CPT. The ACF plugin allows me to add a specific Mapmaster field, but once inside it doesn’t display the maps and doesn’t work properly.
I would like to know if there is something I have missed or it is just impossible what I want to do.

]]>Hello,
I am having an issue with maps suddenly not loading on safari. Sometimes it loads, but without any location pins, but most of the time, it doesn’t load at all. It seems to work fine on chrome though. Since a lot of users are using safari on iPhone. Having maps working on safari is crucial.
My problem is that the map is loading forever and I suspect JS errors for it because when opening my console I can see :Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '0') maplibre-mwp.js?ver=1.2.39:25
I am using the current version of the plugin (1.2.39) with WPML for my translation and having issues only with my secondary language (french).
This is the english version which is working fine :
https://equiparc.com/information/interactive-map/
This is the french version which is not working :
https://equiparc.com/fr/litterature-equiparc/carte-interactive-equiparc/
I tried using the shortcode for the english map on the french page and I get the same problem.
Thank you for your time.
]]>Is there a way to import data from a spreed sheet to create new locations? Or do you need the Pro Version?
]]>Hello.
All locations have radius 0.7 (color), border width 0 (no color). So basically, when I switch any category off, all the borders appear with thick black border.

]]>I am not sure where to start in troubleshooting my map, but the issue is that I can view the map on the page itself but it is stuck in loading and cannot be interacted with. It works completely fine in the preview but on the page is a different story. Do you have any tips on how I can troubleshoot this issue?
]]>I’m using the Divi theme with Mapster, both current.
What I am trying to do is place three of four maps in tabs… but I’m having problems getting the maps to load full size. That is, the size I have set in the plugin or full width.
If I load the page, and click on a tab right away …before the page finishes loading, the map loads full size. If I let the page load completely then click on the tabs the maps load at something like 382px by 285px.
With the Divi plugin, the first tab loads automatically, and at the proper size (full width). The other tabs load only a small map upper left. I can get the other maps to load properly, but only is I hit the next tab before the page finishes loading.
https://staging3.ranainteractive.com/tabed-maps-1/
I tried setting up some tabs with jQuery and CSS Styles, rather than using the DIvi Tabs Module, but ended up with the same problem.
https://staging3.ranainteractive.com/blurb-tabs-1/
It seems like the maps are starting to load in the background maybe? I generally see my Mapster maps load first, at the smaller size 382px by 285px, but then immediately go to the full size I have set up in the plugin.
Is there a way to force the maps to reload on click? So that when I click the next tab the map loads only then, or reloads at that point? I’m not sure exactly what is going on. Thanks

The Plugin “Mapster WP Maps” has a security vulnerability.
I use the Mapster WP Maps free plugin, which is sufficient for displaying data on the map on my website. However, I’ve encountered an issue and need advice. When I set categories as different years, such as 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and configure them to display options in the Filter Panel at Maps > Features > Add by Category, with data arranged sequentially from 2017 to 2020, the Map Preview shows the options in the Filter Panel switching back and forth. What should I do?
]]>Hi, can you please take a look at my problem?
The plugin looks like it is only loading and not showing the map – as seen on frontend page at https://www.bezkycertovica.sk/domov . After a long time (maybe 1hour) it works like it should be. (there is also MapBox directly embeded map, Mapster plugin is under it). Page is built in Elementor page builder. Then I downgraded wordpress core to 6.2.3 version, as writen in plugin wordpress page. The same problem was also with most recent version of WP.
Would appreciate suggestions for solutions, thank you.

Hi! I have the following issue: i have locations with the Location Style: Circle. If I give them a border, after I am switching them off on the map, the border still remains seen, and I am able to click on it.

The features show up fine on within a Map post type (for example https://surreyequities.tangram3ds.com/shortcode-test/), but I want to be able to have each polygon have its own dedicated map/post.
I’ve made sure the features have a default map set. I disabled all the plugins, wasn’t using cache (Development site), then installed cache plugin and cleared it and made sure there’s no server-side caching going on. Any ideas?
