I know you said last year you were revamping and adding support for Custom Post Types.
The plugin doesn’t seem to have been updated in the last two years.

But do not works for the role of “contributor”.
That is, it does not work for the “Send for review”.

Adding a custom field of a custom post type and saving displays above notice with the following on otherwise white screen:

On saving entry without required field, “Fields marked in RED are mandatory” appears at the top. No fields are marked in red.

For some reason the plugin is not working with feature image and categories.
I just left all the fields empty, click publish and it went ahead without marking them in red or anything.
