Hey Teams,
We have been using make stories for a long period of time but yesterday while setting up the poster image for our Google story we got an error called “Poster image loading failed: error occurred while loading image for cropping” Also we connected with our server teams, seems everything fine on that side and they advised that issue can be from the plugin itself. Like we are not able to set any image for the Google story poster(thumbnail).

I have recently installed the Make Stories plugin and I wanted to know, how do I check my ad revenue from there also how many views I have received on the story. I’m aware of the Analytics tab in the plugin and I do check it out there. However, the views I receive therein do not match the daily views of my WP Dashboard or even Jetpack statistics. How do I ensure that the views corroborated on the Analytics tab is matching with my WP stats or Jetpack stats?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

]]>I created stories one day before using the MakeStories plugin. Traffic on my stories got increased. Today I got an email from google AdSense that shows an ad limit error on my Adsense account. I also observed that stories created using this plugin are not shown in JetPack Site Stats. Is all this traffic coming from these stories invalid or there is something else?

When I enable the plugin I was not able access the WordPress so contacted My host and they are telling there compatibility issue with php 8.1 ask the developer to give you compatible version.

Unfortunately, the plugin is not compatible with the PHP versions newer than 7.4. I have changed the PHP version to 7.4, but now there are multiple PHP warnings displayed on the website. Like this:

This seems to be caused by localizing the values without keeping them in a proper array while localizing.

I’ve installed this plugin for a client who needed to include his stories.
After installed and activated the plugin, I’ve noticed that the plugin introduce some slight modification to the whole theme design (eg.: the .container class add a padding of 1.5 rem to all sides of an element).
I think it could/should be wiser to add prefixes to the plugin css classes…
after exporting the zip of a web story , in which WordPress folder we have to FTP the file .
Can you share details?
do we need to create a similar folder structure or what ?

First of all, your plugin is extremely helpful for all the webstories creators out there. However, there’s an issue that I am currently facing, How can I develop my makestories page using Gutenberg instead of my theme?
If there’s no option, I would like to inform you that I am unable to design it using my kadence theme as well. No changes are reflected on the makestories page.
