Always stable and looks nice

I tried everything. The dns records are correct, the emails, the activation keys, and impossible to send welcome emails. Everything is blocked.
I uninstalled the extension and opted for another solution.
Go your own way, this service is not the best.

For installation and setup, MailPoet is pretty user-friendly once you go through the steps, but since setting up an email template to send AUTOMATICALLY when a new post is published on my site, this plugin has NEVER worked properly. Every time I publish a new post, the supposed new post notification email never deploys, so I have to disable it, duplicate it, and try the process all over again. I now have 7 different “templates” in MailPoet for my new post notification email, because every time I publish a new post, I need to create a new email in order for it to actually deploy. Tonight, the new post notification sent out an email notification for a previous post that had long been published. In my mind, the main reason I wanted to use MailPoet was to automatically trigger new post notification emails, and it doesn’t do that without me MANUALLY setting up a new email template for every new post that is published. I don’t understand why this is the way MailPoet works. It shouldn’t be this difficult to trigger an email when a new post is published. Even Wix figured out how to do that. And based on others’ reviews of MailPoet customer service, I am not holding out hope to get this issue resolved.

Simple, intuitif, efficace… Pourquoi passer par une plateforme tierce lorsqu’on peut créer ses newsletters directement à partir du tableau de bord WordPress ? ??

it is really disappointing how open source software that you self-host are limiting the amount of subscribers you can have on your own system. I fully support having premium plans but limiting the amount of subscribers is not the way to go about it. You used to be able to get a premium plan that didn’t limit subscribers and they changed it. I recommend looking at other options, which there an abundance of now that stay true to the ethos of open source software.

We have purchased the Business Plan, and are done setting everything up on our end. MailPoet however had an issue with the answers to the questionnaire that they provided during the signing-up process. We have sent 5 emails at this point to the customer support addressing the situation but received no replies. It is the 5th day today and no support received. There is no number to contact them directly only emails. We have never had such terrible customer service with any other providers. There is no option in their Dashboard to cancel the service for a refund even though they state you can try for 7 days but the due date is approaching and we don’t know where we stand.

I am not a technical person, but the customer suport is great! They invested time and kindness to get me step by step to the right place and my problem was solved fast!

Used this product for almost two years. Lacks a few things we needed but perfectly fine for most SMBs.

It works extremely fast and without any problems.

Domain authentication for sending emails is not working. When I check MX Toolbox I see that all records are active, even for a while now. And still the domain authentication is giving an error for a record that is already deleted a couple of hours ago. The other TXT record was almost immediately approved, only the _mailpoet TXT won’t recognize the new record.

We enjoy using this plugin, but much needed (minor) plugin changes are ignored and never incorporated into the plugin. Hopefully, this will improve in the near future.

Works well if you know DNS

This plugin saved my day when I was trying to fix an error with my hoster and its SMTP server
Thanks!

I could never get this plugin to work properly. I installed it due to the advanced integration with Woocommerce, but I could never trust it to wokr properly.
The signup emails are sent minutes after they are submitted. Why? The person wants the coupon in that very moment.
Also, the forms are very limited, you can’t use a shortcode in case you want to put a form somewhere. The whole plugin is limited in functionality.

MailPoet works well, with a good formatting tool and fast sending, in both free and paid plans. Support responds when needed.

This is an awesome tool for creating customized newsletter experiences for the audience. Would love to see new features such as the ability to add gif animations, and create polls and quizzes for the audience in the Forms and Newsletter Editors. Would be happy to give them 5 stars if they can make this happen.

It’s like an appliance. You don’t think about it. Install it and email. newsletters, never better, they get to their mailboxes.

They state 48 hrs to check initial signup, but for me, it took 5 days working days. Every subsequent support request – for me – took another 3 to 5 days. Some take longer and are not yet answered, after 5 days.
Tech seems ok, though.

This plugin gets a bad wrap, but its mainly due to DNS from my view. This plugin works well, if proper steps are followed with email list management.

MailPoet seemed great for building an email sign up form and a basic newsletter, my two goals however, my experience was hampered by a lack of clear and up-to-date documentation. This made it difficult to use MailPoet effectively, especially for someone new to WordPress.
My issues were:
Confusing Documentation: The documentation I found often did not match the actual interface I was seeing within the plugin. This led to a lot of confusion and wasted time trying to figure out where to find settings or how to complete tasks.
Mobile Issues: My MailPoet forms did not translate well to mobile. In today’s mobile-first world, this is a GIANT drawback.
MailPoet would greatly benefit from a complete overhaul of its documentation, ensuring it is clear, up-to-date, and reflects the current plugin interface and the plugin could be improved by including more mobile-responsive design options or a way to optimize forms for mobile viewing, plus beginner-friendly tutorials or a step-by-step setup guide would be immensely helpful for new users.
If you are new or inexperienced, pass on Mailpoet.

Too many issues to be worth anyone’s time.
The good: Great design options for creating newsletters. They show up great on a laptop.
The bad:
Emails do not show up correctly (as designed) for mobile.
The ugly:
Mailpoet does not sync newsletter subscriber database with wordpress users. If a user subscribes but does not set up an account, the user then gets an error message that they are already in the system when they try to set up an account.
You can completely clean out the wordpress users and database wp_users and the error still pops up.
Why, you may ask?
Because Mailpoet stores it’s own subscriber list in the database. And even if someone unsubscribes, they are not removed from the mailpoet’s database table. Presumably because mailpoet is harvesting lists in the background. Either way, this is a major violation of our privacy policy and most other ethical businesses.
Here’s the real kicker. When you delete users in the mailpoet subscriber list in the database, mail poet throws a fit and acts like you just installed the plugin, deletes all the setup emails, and makes you start over. This should not happen if it’s a simple list. This tells me the subscriber list is being harvested and is mirrored somewhere else in the plugin.
Uninstalled.

Soy totalmente novata en todo lo referente a blogs, newsletter, etc. y Mail Poet me ha ayudado, me ha resultado fácil… no me he visto en la necesidad de buscar nada más…

Plugin keeps telling me on WordPress dashboard that it requires PHP XML.
But this extension IS installed and working.
Any attemp to find more about this topic to solve the error goes to plugin requirement pages. Which is totally redundant with the error message.
I know I’m using the free version but that seems no good reason for the plugin not to work.

I’m using this plugin on several sites – the free version, and it’s great! No issues whatsoever. I highly recommend!

Hello guys!
I am extremely disappointed with this plugin. I have a subscription to the PRO version. In case you use this plugin, please consider the following:
The plugin has insane wordpress version requirements (it cannot work with a lower version than required). Please don’t tell me why. I am a senior developer and I know the answer.
They have the same insane requirements for Woocommerce and PHP version.
There are over 1.2 GB of records from this plugin in my database. This is serious, and there is no option to delete old and unused records.
There is no repository in their PRO version from which you can download a previous version of the plugin. If you decide to update the plugin and it doesn’t work – bad luck guys.
54 hours ago I sent a ticket asking them to provide me with a version that works with WordPress 6.3.4 and Woocommerce 8.4.0 – 54 hours later I still have no response from support.
VERY disappointing performance. I will start looking for another competing service!!!

The plugin does a good job. I like that I can maintain everything from inside WordPress Admin, and that the Sending Service is free for up to 1000 subscribers/5000 emails a month. There are one or two minor things that bother me, but overall it is very good. Thanks!
