I’ve just noticed that MailMunch is generating an unwanted </p> tag in the HTML for a page.

In my case, this happens if the only content on the page is a shortcode.

In the page HTML, immediately after the shortcode output, I get this:

</p><div class='mailmunch-forms-in-post-middle' ...

If I edit the page and add a paragraph after the shortcode, then MailMunch does not output the unwanted </p> tag. I can also avoid the problem by switching off Auto-Embedding in MailMunch’s settings.

It looks like the browser manages to avoid any problems but it needs fixing.

Is this plugin abandoned?

My landing pages that are linked to my WordPress via the Mailmunch plugin are no longer working. When you enter first name and email, click submit, you get “email error”. When inspecting the page it is as if the button is not actually doing anything and not calling the action.

When I submit on the actual mailmunch landing page directly it works fine.

On my other website, my landing pages all have this issue now with “email error”, but FORMS oddly work correctly and submit the information to my lists.

Anyone else having this issue? Very frustrating.

I use MailMunch to collect signups. But, today I just lost my form with no warning and it tells me: No Forms Found. Create Your First Form. When i try to navigate, it brings the following error message: “We’re sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

The mailmunch page shows fine until I publish it through WordPress then it displays a blank page.

Currently only the site administrator can add and edit forms & popups. Is there a way to allow users with Editor role to be able to do this?

This is appearing on the admin panel. None of the forms are displaying. I’ve reported this via the chat support as well. Looking for an API status update somewhere on the MailMunch site but there is no such page (that I can find).

Any update that you can provide would be appreciated. Forms don’t work at present due to this error.

I removed the plugin but on a site scan I see that it is still setting cookies. Where can I find the code that sets the cookies so I can remove it.

I have MailMunch successfully working on another site and have set another up on a second site.

When I go to Integrate and attempt to log into MailChimp, it allows me to log in but then the next screen reports:

“We’re sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.”

Is there a known issue with this integration at the moment please?

First of all, this is great plugin! Thank you. It is very easy to use and works great for sending emails and building a newsletter.

But, please, fix this very annoying pop-up on mobile issue that makes it impossible to use pop-up on mobile.

Imagine reading a long content, you’re at the middle, and all of a sudden, a pop-up appears and you are at the top of the page.

And for most people, traffic comes from mobile, so this is really important issue. Please fix this issue. I saw a post from 6 months ago and it has not been fixed yet.

The matter is : popup get the user back at the top of the page…
And after 4′ of reading, it could be disappointing…

I recently used Mailmunch to subscribe people to one of my on-line class lists at Constant Contact. A few days after implementing Mailmunch, my other Constant Contact lists were losing subscribers. That is, it appears that Mailmunch took people off my other lists if they subscribed to my new on line class.

I am furious – hundreds of subscriber names are now gone! I contacted Constant Contact support and here is what they wrote to me:

The API integration called MailMunch that is connected to your account was updating contacts and removing them from the existing lists they were on.If you have any further questions as to why this integration was updating your contact’s list memberships, I would recommend reaching out to the creator of that API.

Mailmunch was supposed to add names – not delete them!!! I am outraged that this app would REMOVE names from other lists in my account.

A subscriber accidently unsubscribed from the list mailchimp. He had been removed permanently from the list. A message told me to add him again, he has to fill the form on the website again. What he did. I see the contact in the list mailmunch but he has not been added in the mailchimp list. I tryied to import the mailmunch .csv but mailchimp tells me he cannot be added beacause he was permanently removed. How can I resolve this ?

I just installed created a new form.

At the Behavior step, there is no Form Placement option.
At the Publish step, there is no shortcode displayed.

Are these features only available in upgraded version or is there some other cause of the problem?

I use a mailmunch pop up form on my website. But if i want to export this to a CSV of excell sheet i don’t get a clean row with only the e-mail adres. I want to upload the e-mailadresses into mailchimp. But since the exported document contains a lot of information per cel.

Is there a way i can only export the e-mailadressen without information such as date of subscription, landing site etc.

The latest version of Chrome is flagging the drop-in code as http causing the site to be a mix-content ssl. Deactivating the plugin resolve the mixed issue.

The Mailmunch plugin is getting a conflict with BunnyCDN plugin. When I activate Mm plugin, I can’t see BC plugin installed.

If I deactivate Mm plugin, then I can see BC plugin working.

This has happened once before and also to a customer of mine who I referred to the MailMunch plugin.

For whatever reason, yesterday my pop up worked fine but today when you click the button to generate the pop up, nothing happens other than my URL adds the shortcode to the end of it.

I have the popup form set to only show on exit intent, however ever time I load my site in a private browser the popup opens on page load.

What can I do to get this behavior corrected?

I installed mailmunch and connected to mailchimp as wel. All the subscribers on my mailmunch account are not in my wordpress subscriber list. How do I fix that. Also, when I publish a new blog post, does mailmunch send the email with the blogpost as well?

I have tried to create a check box in my form for the consent required by the GDPR. However, I cannot integrate this field with Mailchimp, neither with the GDPR fields nor the segment. Are you working on an update for this? Thank you

I had tried this on 3 client sites. Worked great on the first two. This site it won’t load via pop up and it also won’t load when I created a form for the sidebar.

Same theme on all 3 sites (genesis framework child theme). All sites on same host (pressable). Same essential setups.

This site got complicated, as this ‘free’ plugin, seemed to want to force me to create a free account with Mailmunch. That was not necessary on the other sites.

I created it and that still did not solve the problem. Submitted a ticket with that service there. I post this here as this is a free plugin and imho should not require an account free or otherwise to run.
