When is that? When this plugin “auto generates” featured images for your posts by using real live book covers, and real live marketing materials with REAL BRAND NAMES and REAL ICONS, and REAL AUTHOR NAMES, anbd REAL BOOK TITLES…
About one third of the posts we’ve made have 100% COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL in them.
If I upgrade to paid Pro will I get non-copyrighted materials guaranteed?

It is very useful to find thumbnails for my thouseads of posts.
I would like to have also google option in manual generate option.
And also it would be really great if search words could be mixed like post name + category.
Other than that, it’s a great plugin for the site owners with thousands of posts without thumbnails.
i could get a pro version but both i hate subscription payments and also the price is huge comparing the features of the free version.
Despite everything, this plugin deserves 5 stars all the way. Thanks dev team for the great plugin.

I bought it and worked perfectly until it stopped working.
Tried to use a proxy, check cron or anything and it doesn’t generate any thumbnail anymore …
If you need to generate many images better look for another option. It generated around 5000 then doesn’t work anymore.

A large number of thumbnails can be set automatically, but the image cannot be processed, which is a major obstacle to the server.

We needed to change the featured images for 100’s of posts that already had featured images. Wow! Wow! This plugin works like a champ and saved many hours of time if we had to do this process manually.
Used this plugin to regenerate new featured images automatically. Just go to the posts page and check the posts you need to regenerate featured images for and watch it work the magic. We used Google Images (scrape) and all’s good.

What good fortune finding this plugin. Pulling in RSS feeds as posts, this plugin solves the missing featured image problem.
Of the various import methods, Google Images scrape is the most consistent, as title keywords won’t often turn up hits at Pixabay or Flickr, especially if your trying to respect copyright ??
Google API method was a dead end for me. Sure, I understand the Google Dev console and have many many projects and associated APIs. But creating a Google Custom Search Engine, then getting an API too; which api? Any. Will a YouTube, Google Cloud, Google Maps API work? They did not in my tests. The author needs to ferret out and better explain how a user is supposed to meet those criterias.

A great free plugin! Quickly and reliably fetches images at post update & publish. I found it’s possible to get good relevant results with careful domain selection within your google custom search engine, plus selection of larger image size. Definitely worth the time to tweak to get the best results. Thank you!

Had high hopes for this plugin based on the reviews – and to the extent to which is purportedly would suit my needs (setting thumbnails for old WP posts that did not currently have them).
I initially tried to use it with pixabay and configured it with my username and API code. Went to posts and selected several. Clicked on bulk actions dropdown and chose Magic Post Thumbnail and clicked apply. After it was finished nothing had changed.
I tried this repeatedly. When it continued to fail I thought perhaps the problem was with Pixabay, so I switched the plugin settings to fetch images from Flickr instead.
Same exact problem.
The developer was incredibly fast to respond to my problems, so I am really hoping we will get it working (I will update my star rating at that point).

Hello,
Can you please help me with a fix for getting images from Google? I need it for a major release as soon as possible. The engine ID and API key were added but no images are being downloaded.
Getting images from Flickr works ok.

I have a used A LOT of featured image plugins over the years. Automatic Post Featured Images From Google, Flickr, Pixabay is the best automatic featured image plugin I have ever used.
I give it 4/5 Stars. It would get 5/5 from me if it worked with WP Robot too. I like WPematico but it has a problem posting videos.
I autoblog a lot blogs. The best would be if I could API into a paid image service.

Was super simple to use. After checking setting just went to post and selected all and it did a bulk upload for 1 page of post at a time. Took about 10 mins for 100 post. It found some good images and was really easy to delete the pics I didn’t like.

If you need to insert featured images to your posts choosen automatically by titile this is your plugin.
You can make it in a bulk going to posts, selecting the posts and choosing “Generate magic post thumbnail”.
