So I made the mistake of checking this box on… now my site is “500 Internal Server Error”.
Any guidance as to where I can go to manually reverse this setting since I can’t login to either the Front or Back end of my site?

]]>When the latest version (3.7.1) was installed, it appears they have changed how the key is stored and generated.
It appears this plugin now results in delivery of expired password reset keys when users request password reset. I am no expert in debugging, but after lots of tests, this plugin is the only one that results in the error when requesting password reset from your widget. Could you please check and try to fix this, as it is a really useful plugin.

The same question was asked by Imobagg, but he or she resolved it without telling how.
What is the shortcode for redirectiong someone to an URL?
[RedRokk_Login_Widget title=”Login” transform=”” transform=”true” action=”login” display=”logout” css=”” css=”true” primary=”” ]
Redirect to: after login

value=”" size=”20″ tabindex=”10″ />
after the Username field and
value=”" size=”20″ tabindex=”10″ />
after the Password field.
When testing the login, it never worked, so I’m guessing it’s because the code wasn’t displaying correctly. Looks like there’s smart quotes being used, which might be why the code isn’t processing right.

]]>Hi
This plugin seems to be just what I need. I’m on WP 3.4.1.
So, I installed, created a page and inserted shortcodes for login and lost password. I, a bit absent-minded, checked the ‘redirect to this page…’ box.
To test, I logged out and attempted to login. Woops, the browser told me i’d hit and endless loop. Couldn’t log into admin either.
So, I deleted the plugin via ftp and was able to log in. Fine.
Now, I’d repeat except for the redirect part. So, installed and attempted to activate the plugin:
Blank page only showing “No input file found”.
Any suggestions on how to get this promising plugin installed properly the second time round?
Cheers

]]>Great plugin. Just had a question about the url redirects.
In the FAQ it says:
Can I redirect users from the default wp-login.php page? =
Yes and No. Users that access the wp-login.php page directly will be able to view it. However, all links on your website can be redirected to any form instance that you specify.
How do I specify the redirect for when a user logs in, logs out, or enters an incorrect password?
thanks

]]>First, thanks for a great plug-in. I have your login form in my sidebar and it is now much more professional-looking for users, rather than having to leave the page to login. I have made a couple of small adjustments to your styling and the focus behaviour, which I’ll share in another thread.
Second, my current question… I have an icon in my header that used to direct users to the wordpress login page. It is not really needed anymore because of your widget, but it is up at the top in an easily reached position, so I would like to keep it if possible and get it to work with your login form. Otherwise, users on small screens have to scroll down to login.
Is there an href or url address that could mimic the function of your login button, assuming the fields have been auto-filled correctly? (I think I can copy your code to check if the fields are already filled in, so this icon will only be visible when it is usable).
If this is not possible, that’s fine. Option 2 would be for the icon to move focus to your widget so the user can then hit ‘return’. (I turned off the line in your code that gives your widget automatic focus .)
I can post a link, if you need it, but the site is very much under construction.
Cheers,
Craig.

]]>Hi.
I thought I had this sorted but it appears I don’t sorry.
Forgive me as this is probably a very basic question as I am not an expert web developer and new to WordPress.
What I would like to do is set up a members only area of my new website, and when members login they are immediately taken to a specific page (ID 200) that is the welcome page for the private area of the site.
I’ve set up the members area, all I need to do now is set up a login page that when they click on login directs them to my members area welcome page.
So I have created a page and on that page I have entered the following code from your form widget on the new page wysiwyg.
[RedRokk_Login_Widget title=”Login” transform=”” transform=”true” action=”login” display=”menu” css=”” css=”true” primary=”” ]
I’ve stated “When logged in show Nav Menu” If I click on Preview it shows my custom menu. I can’t click on the menu link it shows in the preview window as it then opens the wordpress site within the window and there is no “insert” or “OK” or similar button shown – like one of your other forum members mentioned) Hence I just click on Insert which produces the code above.
When the member clicks on my site main menu, selects the menu option that directs them to the members login page with the above code on it, they are presented with the login and password box. So that’s perfect.
They enter their credentials and click login. The user is then taken back to what I call the site homepage, the page presented when you first access the site using the main site URL. They then have to go back to the members menu and click on the page that is the members only login page which takes them into the members area.
How can I take them direct to the particular members only page directly after they click the login button?
I’m sure its straight forward but as I said, I am a novice and CSS is a mystery to me!!
Thanks in advance.
