I see this plugin has not been tested on recent WordPress installs, so I’m not sure how active the development still is. While upgrading some server software, I checked the debug logs and saw a deprecation notice on the use of FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING in /login-recaptcha/login-nocaptcha.php on line 106.
It’s also preventing logging in under some circumstances. This is for PHP 8.1. We use this plugin on many client sites and would love to continue using if the development team is still working on the plugin.
]]>Hi
Mike here from WishList Member. We have a customer that’s using your plugin and reported that a few of our login forms are not working when your plugin is enabled. At first I tried to call do_action(‘login_form’) so your plugin can hook in and add the markup but it only half works. Mark-up is loaded but styles and some scripts are not. I checked your code and it seems that you only enqueue said styles and scripts under certain hard-coded conditions,
Seeing your supported WooCommerce by hooking into their actions, I went ahead and added “wishlistmember_login_action” as an action in WishList Member in the hopes that you can support our plugin as well.
This action passes the context from which it’s called as well so you can customize your markup/styles (if needed) based on the context. We have three contexts as of now:
This will be included in WishList Member 3.26.10 which is to be released either this week or early next week.
I hope you can update your plugin to support this and make both our customers happy.
If there’s anything you need from us to make this work, please let us know.
Have a great day!
Mike
]]>for now we disabled the plugin because it dont work on the checkout page so people cant checkout anymore if the plugin is enabled. On every page the recaptcha is working correctly but only on the checkout page not. When people click on it and select the right images it still say that the recaptcha is not correct and try again. How to solve this issue?
]]>Hi there,
the plugin seems does not work with firefox 125.0.3 the roller just keeps rolling after the box being ticked. I changed to chrome and it works fine. there is a javascript error:
message: “Error in protected function: oB is not a function”, cause: TypeError, Y: true
Thank you!
]]>I use the Login NoCaptcha plugin and my dashboard persistently displays message:
“Login NoCaptcha has not been properly configured. Click here to configure.”
The plugin is configured correctly, works correctly and its configuration can be saved repeatedly with no errors.
This dashboard message only appears on my Elementor site. Non-elementor websites work ok.
What should I do?
]]>Hi,
We use this plugin on multiple websites and now we have problem with it but only on one of the sites.
When I want to login on wp-admin I didn’t saw the ReCaptcha box after I type the username and password I saw this error message “Please check the ReCaptcha box.”
I tried different browser and the box is missing in other browsers too.
From white list IP I can login.
We’re using the newest WordPress 6.5 on our websites.
I deleted the plugin and install it again, but this isn’t solved the problem.
Do you need any other information?
Best Regards
Patrik
]]>Hi,
the plugin does not seem to be tested on the latest or at least 6.4.3.
At least that’s the message I get.
Furthermore we get a lot of spam messages lately, despite the plugin.
And we are using PHP 8.1 for some weeks now.
]]>Hi! I have just installed your plugin. It works fine in all desktop browsers on my Mac, and also on the iPad. But the No Captcha reCAPTCHA login just keeps turning around when trying to log in through Safari on an iPhone. When using Chrome on the iPhone it works just fine. Any suggestions on what to do?
]]>CAPTCHA is shown, also works – it shows the green check mark. But when try to log in, it says the CAPTCHA is incorrect. It did work before.
]]>“This plugin has not been tested with the last 3 major WordPress versions. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may experience compatibility issues when used with newer versions of WordPress.”
Thank you
]]>This plugin doesn’t implement re-captcha properly.
Google says:
We have detected that your site does not test for reCAPTCHA solutions. This operation is mandatory in order to correctly use reCAPTCHA on your site. For more information, see our developer site .
On this page the captcha is not displayed, but on the rest it is displayed. Help solve this problem.
]]>Hi Robert Peake and contributors, I love your plugin and just wanted to notify you of a bug I have found. It seems that with the login no captcha V2 at the Woocommerce registration form, the default Woocommerce password security feature no longer works. Meaning the “Register” button remains greyed out for “very weak” and “weak” passwords as it should, however if the button is clicked the form is submitted and the user is registered to the site anyway. When the plugin is disabled the security functionality returns to how it should be where when the button is greyed out the form cannot be submitted. Love the plugin and cheers.
]]>Hello, thank you very much for the plugin.
Could you tell me if it is possible to add the recaptcha field to the login form.
I am calling the form using the function “wp_login_form();”
If so, can you give me any advice on how to achieve this?
Thank you so much
Would like it better if it had options to decide when to show captcha; I would turn it off for Login and Forgot Password, but keep it on for Register. The only problem I’m having on my site is spammers creating accounts, so I don’t need to make users do captcha to just login; it’s probably annoying to them.
]]>Could you please add support for the recaptcha key and secret to be added as a constant to wp-config.php instead of needing to be in the database. It makes it a lot easier for large multisites that share a domain.
Eg. replace get_option() in your plugin with a custom function that first checks for a constant like CAPTCHA_PUBLIC and CAPTCHA_PRIVATE
]]>Hello guys,
Is it possible to have reCaptcha active also in the WooCommerce checkout page ? Please let me know what are the changes.
Thanks a lot
]]>First, kudos on a Captcha plugin that actually worked after I tried many others! My only issue is that it prevents me from receiving “New User Registration” notification emails when real people create accounts.
I installed the “Manage Notification E-mails” plugin and expressly enabled the “New user notification to site admin” option but it had no effect.
Is there a way to find out what’s breaking the notification process and either modify it or work around it?
Thanks,
El Ramos
I noticed that this plugin supports Simplified Chinese translation, I installed the plugin and it is properly configured, but it does not display the captcha. Access to Google domains is banned in China, is there any way to use this plugin?
]]>I have recently installed this plugin to add Captcha to my registration and account page.
However, I encountered an issue where the box states ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key
I tried countless different ways to attempt to fix it by clearing cache, reinstalling the plugin, creating new reCAPTCHA keys etc to no avail.
I decided to just uninstall the plugin. Now, I am facing a new issue whereby the captcha box is still there with the same error!
I tried to restore my site to a week old backup, to no avail.
I even restored the database, files and everything, even losing my customer data within the past week just to try and fix this issue but all to no avail and all for naught…
]]>Is the plugin compatible with a multisite installation?
I would like to use the plugin for a wordpress multisite installation, the entries in the forum on this question are already somewhat older.
Thank you for any feedback!
The plugin installed just fine. No issue with integrating with Google reCaptch keys either. Works fine when I try it. However I am still getting fake registered users with random character user names. The numbers have reduced but not 0. The user registration all bear signs of being a bot registration. I am wondering why that might be. Any pointers to why this might be happening?
]]>It used to work but now for some reason we get the ERROR for site owner: invalid site key – instead of the checkbox.
The weird thing is that this only occurs on our custom login page, see URL. On the woocommerce myaccount page, it works properly. What could this be?
]]>Hello, i’ve got everything working properly yet still we have brute force attacks as I can see in our history plugin that hundreds of login attempts are still being made. What’s going wrong? Thnx
]]>Hi
On one of my sites the plugin is storing a lot of data in the wp_options table. When we first noticed this it was at 35GB!
I constantly receive an admin notification saying that the plugin was bypassed on XML-RPC
I am having to optimise the table every day and will try a cron schedule soon to keep resetting it
Do you have any ideas what could be casuing this?
Thank you for your time ?
]]>As it might be no very fast updated for newer WP versions: will it work with newer versions? Or do you say: please do not use with untested newer versions?
]]>Is it possible that this plugin is not visible on site? I only need it to login to my wordpress dashboard. Thanks
]]>Hello,
I wonder if we can get this great plugin with an option to add Cloudflare Turnstile instead of Google reCAPTCHA?
Easy to setup if using Cloudflare, and I believe few modifications needed:
Thank you for any kind of feedback information
Sincerely
]]>Hi, I fell in love with this plugin when I installed it on our stage site … worked perfectly on both WP login and WooCommerce My Account pages.
BUT the weird thing is I can’t get it to work on our live site. The sites are identical: same up to date WordPress version, same plugins all updated. System is Windows 7 for both and each is hosted on the same hosting service.
I’ve cleared the cache, restarted, checked that all plugins are identical and am out of ideas.
Can you help … I hope!
Thank you,
Linda
Saw this error box flash by on the top of an admin screen
Login NoCaptcha was bypassed on login page
I wasnt too worried about it but a database error also happened simultaneously in my php error log. Is this something your plugin needs to fix ? or ?
