I’m currently running 4.1.1 but have a few sites with plugins/themes that get a little temperamental when it comes to updates. A control freak by nature, I always got ticked off receiving those dreaded “wordpress core has been updated to..” emails.

Now I don’t have to hold my breath when logging in to those sites to perform maintenance.

Finally I’ve find this lovely piece of code! Perfect for every project cause I often try to get in touch with respective developers when I fix something or modify a plugin, but sometime it’s simply not possible.
Now I can easily lock plugins that has not to be updated and write down a note about it so I don’t have to remember what and why.
I love it!

This is one of those plugins that should be a standard feature in WP. If there are any improvements to be made, they’re beyond me. Cheers!

I’m always afraid one of the admins is going to update plugins I’ve been forced to alter to get the desired functionality in a pinch.

This is exactly what I needed to prevent it from happening.
