To show the correct local time in the comments (not UTC) I’ve changed in lj_comments_import.php:
$tmp->comment_date = strftime(‘%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S’, $arr[‘date’]
=>
$tmp->comment_date = strftime(‘%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S’, $arr[‘date’]+(get_option( ‘gmt_offset’ )*3600));
Now it’s ok.
Please, fix it in the next version of the plugin.

]]>I wonder if that scenario might be of interest (if it’s not implemented yet):
no comments in WP, but allow comments in LJ and import them to WP?
LJ has now option to comment with facebook/twitter/lj/google/vkontakte/openid/…
so that might be usefull if someone like me does not want to set up all these commenting options with extra plugins, but still want to keep my blog fresh with new comments from LJ?
p/s/ do that only for posts which are shared

]]>I’ve done all kinds of gymnastics trying to get this plugin to work, but as I’ve searched for a solution all I’ve seen are posts saying that it won’t work unless your blog is installed in the root folder. This isn’t an option for a lot of people, and it’s a shame, because this seems to be the only game in town for cross-posting Livejournal comments. I’ve seen threads and threads filled with complaints that this doesn’t work, so if someone could come up with one that does, I’m sure it would be a popular plug-in. At this point I’d even be willing to pay a premium rate for a good one.

]]>Hi, thanks for writing this plugin!
I am trying to get it working as it’s very important for me.
I tried it with Live journal cross posting last release 2.1.2
and WP v. 3.1 and WP v.3.2.1 These combinations don’t work.
Is that true that a wp blog must be installed to root folder only? I don’t want to make such a dramatic change just to check it out.
Thank you!
