Liveblog plugin is now using the incorrect Reddit media js file, which is https://embed.redditmedia.com/widgets/platform.js?ver=1.9.7 and it returns 404

Where as without version file ie.
https://embed.redditmedia.com/widgets/platform.js is redirecting on https://embed.reddit.com/widgets.js,

Performance and page speed are being affected by 404 .

platform.js redirect from https://embed.redditmedia.com/widgets/platform.js to https://embed.reddit.com/widgets.js. which will also impact the performance of site.

I installed the plugin on a staging site. The site language is set to italian but the Liveblog plugin interface microtexts are displayed in english. What can be done to have them translated?

I am creating a liveblog for my post using Liveblog plugin version 1.9.4. All of the postings are coming up in a grey background. What do I need to change it to a clear background?

Is there a way to make the liveblog show more than 5 entries per page?

When will you guys update this great plugin. It’s a shame you missed 3 major updates of WordPress.
It says:
“This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”

Please don’t give up on the plugin. Would you please update? ??

After going through all the GitHub documentation, searching on ‘the Google’ and reading several posts about Liveblog, I cannot figure out how to change this client’s liveblog from descending to ascending when archived.

I seem to recall this was previously an option? It’s been some months since I’ve implemented Liveblog for a client, but this would be quite useful.

Yesterday I used this plugin for a liveblog. It does exactly what it must do. Insert text images and refresh article page.

Now the event is over, I would like to have the liveblog in the order, old to new. After the event this makes more sense to the readers to start from the beginning.

Is this possible? Couldn’t find a setting to do this.

We upload PDF files to our site. When there is a PDF file in the Media Library near the top 6 of recent uploads the Live Blog will break when we goto insert an image.

The error we get is: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘e.media_details.sizes.thumbnail’)

In the media library the PDF doesn’t have a thumbnail and doesn’t have an option for it so this is where the error is deriving. We have tried this without any PDF in the recent list and it works as expected.

But when we modify any of the template files in either the theme directory or the plugin directory we are unable to see the changes.

Is there some caching? is the HTML being bundled up?

Any help would be grateful as we need to change the templates.

I need to replace the html tag <header> since that is used elsewere on our HTML5 theme (together with <footer> <aside> <main> etc.). I’ve changed it in the tempplate file but it seems that the real html sits in some .js file

I’ve changed there but still the tag <header> is used inside a liveblig entry.

Where can we edit the generated html?

we get an error, if we click the button “Insert Media”, the script die and return in the console the following error: “e.media_details.sizes is undefined”

Hi! I’m trying the new multiple authors feature in a liveblog test post but it doesn’t seem to work. Is there something we should check out before trying it?

I’ve tried both changing the author and adding multiple authors in each liveblog update.

I know others have asked this, maybe I am lucky and you reply, but will you provide a shortcode option? I would love to add it to a page. Also, add some options please :). I can’t seem to find any options to this except the 3 ones on the post when I add it. Anyways I love it so far, thanks!

I want to remove the human time difference showing in entries, and replace them with hours and minutes. What I’m trying to do is to get the time of when the entry is published showing where the “timeago” is now, and then the date beneath it.

I see people have asked about similar issues before, without getting a proper answer, but if someone could point me in the right direction here, as to what files to edit, and where, it would be very helpful.

I can’t get Liveblog to display videos properly.
It won’t show Facebook videos at all.
YouTube videos just display as a static screenshot or thumbnail.
And Vimeos just show the URL.
Is there something I can do to fix this?

Hi, after the last update, i have the following problems.

1. There is no language support. Everything is in english
2. date is wrong and every new post contain “in an hour”
3. how can i configure the number of entries per page?
4. the text field is blocked at the iphone for the time being. only when I click a few times I can enter text

Since this plugin is using ajax by default. but i have to configure it for websocket to make realtime response. so as per the documentation on github i configured all the things
Ex:
I installed node js.
installed Redis,installed dependencies using composer.
and configured wp-config file

but when i hit node app.js command it doesn’t starting scoket.io server and so it fallback to ajax functionality.

So how can i configured it properly?
